The first thing I always think of is the panda bear. Not trying to be smart, it is just the first thing to come to mind.

The great wall of China or the dragon decorated in bright colors and silk.
The forbidden city.. a lot of images. China has a lot of cultural background. Each is unique in that it only describes one aspect of China.

I think its the yin yang sign. Thats one thing that is really is unique to chinese culture. If not that then definitely the dragon. Not the dinasaur kinda ones in Lord Of The Rings but those snake like ones. But the singapore guys also have that.
