Gay and Lesbian communities have some support and acceptance, or at least some of society tries...why are crossdressers almost always laughed at, and considered a joke? I never see crossdresser's pride apparel, or parade.

For those one a few other questions, attacking our parades.
Irish have the st paddy's day parade. There are other parades for other groups whom have been shat upon throughout history. Blacks, pride. When need a Jew Pride Parade they put up with more **** than most of us. Where's their parade?
Back to my question gay pride gives us the chance to be ourselves. and show that we are proud of the normal and happy life we were born with.? Whats wrong with that?

My generation is out of their mind.... Some of my friends kids names are what "they" call "unique" and what I call "ugly".... Taking parts of your name and parts of your wife/husband name and combining them is crap.... Trust me I grew up with a wierd name.... its not cool when teachers cant even pronounce your name......

First of all, let me say I am not a conservative and I do not believe that being gay is a choice some people make.
I believe it is genetic. And I don't care if gays want to have a civil union or something to that effect.
MY problem is with gay people going around and saying that being gay is NORMAL. Being gay is no more normal than someone who is born blind, or as in my case, has heart valve disease. It's no more "normal" than having cancer or diabetes. And I truly believe that one day we will find out what genetically goes wrong to cause homosexuality, and we will find a way to stop it from happening in the first place.
The other problem I have is with these Gay Pride parades.
Look, like I said, I have heart valve disease that was genetic. I am neither proud nor ashamed of it.....it is just something I have to deal with.

lately i'm wondering if there is some type of conspiracy here in arizona. my neighbors are gay & use meth and i'm beginning to wonder about these random "straight" guys that hang around, always alone, cute, and why aren't they hanging out w/thier straight friends who use meth? they say they aren't "bi" (i've asked) and the gay guys never will admit to us girls that these guys aren't so "straight" - (when in fact, i hear otherwise)
WHAT"S REALLY GOING ON????????? anyone know?
i don't care if anyones gay, not gay, etc. what i do care about is all the secrets and distrust. thank you for those that answer this!

I might be needing some ideas soon. But I don't even know how they would take it. My parents are seperated my mom's really religious and my dad's extremely old fashioned. They've both bashed my gay cousin before. I'm kinda scared!

They just say stupid things. Some quotes from yahoo answers...

On deportation...
"Where would they find them? They can't even find Bin Laden, the greatest criminal of all time"

On the police force...
"Why do cops take you to jail then go back to your house and pick up your wife?"

On America's future...
"We must secure the existance of our people and the future for white children"

On immegration...
"What do illegal aliens have in common with white boys?

and the list just goes on and on. I think that rather than getting rid of illegal aliens, we need to get rid of these self rightous idiots who feel it's there duty to repopulate America with other stupid kids who keep our country hated around the world for our ignorance and hostility to anyone who challenges the basic conept of "Good Christian white men are better than everyone else".

And why does it always seem to be the homosexual people doing that out in public? I dont want to see anyone swap spit when Im eating my lunch. Maybe its just the young and in lust ones, but I dont think I see as many hetros doing this-or maybe I dont notice...gay kissing stands out because it's different? Hmmm... i am almost 30, i have a so-called professional job, and i am a mother.
i used to have face piercings, but i took them all out.
but damn it's so hard to act like i am not a social deviant.
should i keep up the professional act full time, go back to piercings and streaked hair, or is there some other way i can feed my need outside of work hours??
