Adornments do not define you, be a rebel in action not in dress. Professional life allows you to enjoy rebellion because you have means to do so. Being unemployed with piercings allows you to be broke and unaccepted.

There is a age where the person looks either outrageous with the piercings and streaks or pathetically trying to relive young times with piercings and streaks. You know it from when the kids have a giggle as you go by.
Get some photos from when you were the "sickest" and have them enlarged and framed and put them up in the house. If you can't stop the urge to be different then go bungee or parachute jumping or start building a collection of some object that no 30 year old would collect in their right mind.
Don't try to go back to something that isn't there any more.

I don't think you are ever too old for what makes you happy. I'm not sure what piercings you did have on your face but I know you can get clear retainers for a lot of piercings... that way you will still have them and you wont have to wear your jewelery at work. As for the pink hair it would depend on your job and whats acceptable... maybe not something that out there,... like a red color... or a different hairstyle... You need to do what will make you happy because life is too short... but being a mom you also have to take care of your family... I'm sure if you think about it and look around for ideas you will find something.... Good Luck

What term do you reside in? only using fact somebody has piercings and tattoos or dyed hair does not recommend they worship the devil? I even have like 4 piercings and 12 tattoos. i'm not non secular yet i'm not a bad guy or woman. this is a fashion of expressing myself.

i think you should do what makes you feel good, but you also have to take you career and your families feelings in mind and while you may have taken out your piercing and streaks you haven't changed inside, your still your old self inside and you don't need to change that, as long as its not hurting those close to you, so carry on being you!!

Find another way. You are too old for this now, and you could compromise your job. Time to grow up...but don't grow old! Just find a private way of expressing yourself- in the bedroom, get a wig....do deviant art....but do it in a way that only those who know you best will ever find out your deviant little secret!
That sounds like fun! I might want to get in on this too!

I say go for it... but do things that you can hide when you go to work or any other function that might need you to dress down...
dying your hair underneath so you can put it up and see the colors but when you put it down your ready for work...tatoos where you can't see unless you are wearing no sleeves.peircings you can remove when you need to...
there is no reason why you can't express who you are...Just because you are a mom doesn't mean you have to loose yourself...
#1 mistake you'll start feeling lost...
Hold on to who you are just don't go to extreme...good luck...one thing we must teach our children is to express who they are... to except others who are different and not to judge others for how they look but for who they are....you go mom!!!
