This man wrestled crocodile, played with poisonous snakes and other dangerous creatures and he gets killed by a stingray?! Oh my gosh, the irony!!!! All his life he was jumping in the water with pure crocodiles and nothing even happened to him and one day he goes in the water for a documentary and gets stung in the chest by a fish that rarely or should i saw never attacks. this is crazy. He will be missed mates

The first two seasons that I watched him messing around with the crocs, I cringed most of the time, half expecting to see him eaten or at least lost a digit or two. After a while it just seemed like he was invincible...sadly not so. They keep showing the interview with him and Matt (the ***) Lauer, where his sweet little girl gets up in his lap. Makes your heart really go out to her and the family.

It was kind of shocking, but not really shocking considering his life style. I'm just glad it was a sting ray and not the crocodile he was holding his baby in front of a while ago. Then there could have been 2 deaths instead of one.

It is very sad. He was pretty brave with those animals and showed us many things. I really feel sorry to his family and his fans. I've seen him do many dangerous things with animals but I never thought it would end like that. He enjoyed his life and he is probably in a better place now. RIP

He died doing what he loved the most and we all be grateful we met, though not personally, a man like him. It might be sad, but what a way to celebrate his life and everything it was!

Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Last year, he was criticized for endangering his baby by having him within a few feet of a crocodile. He was an idiot. Now he left his kids fatherless. Hope he had insurance.

Those whimpy stingrays are brutal. I also thought it would be an alligator or the sort.
