Do you think parents know if their kid is bisexual (or gay)? I am just curious if most parents know. I'm still not sure of my sexual orientation, and I don't think I've ever showed any signs of being bi (FYI, I am a female teenager), but do my parents know and are just waiting for me to come to them? I'm pretty close to them, but I don't know if they would know if I don't tell them. I'm not sure if I will, but I'm just wondering...

When I was 14 almost 4 years ago, my parents pressured me into getting a girlfriend. Now only a few days until I turn 18 they and my girlfriend are trying to pressure me into marriage. But I cannot see myself happy with her, or any female either...

I am also in love with my best friend, who has said he loves me. But I am too scared to live my own life, I worry too much about pleasing my parents... I also worry they might get more violent that they already are to me....

Any advice on how I can come out of this ALIVE, living my life as I want?

I am a Christian man and earlier I posted some questions that gave some the impression that I hate gays and lesbians, which nothing can be further from the truth. Although, I don't approve of your lifestyles I still have much love for you. Just as it is my purpose to spread the gospel, it is also my purpose to show love for everyone regardless of race, color, creed or sexual orientation. So at this time I would like to offer my apology to anyone who misinterpreted my intent as being that of hatred. We live in a country that gives us the freedom to voice our opinions, and though our views may differ, it is always important that we learn to live together peacefully and love and respect one another. Peace be with you all. Are you with me?

I really wanted to ask this question. I live on the east coast. I see
a lot of females amd some males, some of them look gay and some look straight. At first the earring in the eyebrow means that a person is gay. Now, I see the earring under the lip. Does that mean a person is gay?

there seems to be some sort of mystique around the whole subculture--you know, ranting about the evil establishment, the conformism, etc and being as different as possible and very very agnry. what is this all about, and why is there such a huge distinction between them, goths, and emos? i'm not trying to criticize,--i personally like music that at one point was considered punk, aka, in the 80s-- i just don't really get it. what are they rebelling against? bad taste in clothing? mediocre governments? the illegality of drugs?

I mean every black male I know is either in jail, on probation, house arrest, on bail , skipped bail, a fugitive, on court supervision, on parole, or is on death row ? like whats the deal with them. is it a coincidence or do these people have, you know, like a racial commitment to crime?

To me it seems that many problems we have in this country are at least contributed to by so many people who insist on not using English. I think we must for our own safety send back all those illegals who don't speak English well enough to pass the test of English as a second language. Let the others stay as they can be held accountable for whatever hazards they create. Since we can't seem to keep illegals from coming in to begin with let's at least force them to learn to speak English adequately before we stop sending them as far away as we can manage. Money now spent on accomodating these Spanish speaking holdouts can be spent to improve the quality of life for everyone willing to learn to speak our common language.

Ok, so, I'm 27 and I'm still a virgin. I blame my Catholic education as a child and also I'm just very picky. Also a hypocondriac so & I tend to freak out over STDs. Is it wrong to vaguely tell my new b/f (I hate to provide details to him, because I'd have to fabricate them) that I had 1 (only) lover before him? (when I haven't) That's still pretty rare right, for someone my age? (only 1)?

And once we've had sex, it wouldn't really matter would it? Would you guys be offended if you found out or not care? I feel like I'm just trying to protect myself & I don't want to hurt him in any way. Thanks !

i am very much a man,,,heterosexual,i enjoy females,,,however,,i really have the most fun from life when i am by myself and pretending to be a girl. the way i dress,etc...but i would still love to have a meaningful relationship with a woman,,but a woman that would allow me to be as much of a woman as i can be,,,and as much of a man as i want to be. are there lesbian women that understand this? good advise only please.

They are always saying things like "A girl/guy shouldn't do this because that's not right for their gender"

For example, I have a tendency to wear baggy clothing. Since I am a girl, they are always telling me that it's wrong for me dress the way I dress because I'm a girl and I'm wearing such "guy-ish" clothing.

Another one would be when my boy cousin went away for 10 weeks and he never got a hair-cut. He came back with his hair a little long on the back of his neck and his mom was reprimanding him the whole way back about how he should've gotten a haircut, how gay he looks, how wrong it is, and so forth...

(This is just 2 out of the many examples I can name)

I'm completely basing my statement that my family is homophobic with this... Am I wrong though? Do they seem homophobic? Or am I just jumping to conclusions a little too quick?
