I'm pro-choice and I believe it is solely a woman's choice to decide what she wants to do with her body. I don't get how some people want to make raped women, who are preganant by their rapist, raise and give birth to a child they never wanted.

I ask this because a few weeks ago, I went to an old friends barbeque (male, who happens to be one of these people) and one of his female "sisters", I'm assuming, one of these "Eastern star" persons, got the wrong idea about me and him, and I guess she had a bit too much to drink that night and ended up yelling at me and making an a$$ of herself with my husband standing right there about to jump in her rear...

anyways...to make a long story short, I did nothing to anyone. Said nothing rude to even her after she verbally assaulted me in her drunkeness, and then I and my husband am suddenly "casually" shown weaponry, desert eagles and nines, all carried by the "brothers" of the "sister" that offended me. No one threatened us outright in anyway, but empathically, I could just sense evil and mal intent, and I took heed and left promptly.

Are these people insane? A cult? Or what? I'm still stunned by that experience. Weapons? When this chick was in the wrong? What up with that?

Whether its in the elevator or in line at the grocery store, people talk on their cell phones. Often about very personal matters and mostly in a much louder voice than they would use to speak to someone in person. The hands free models are the worst - people absolutely shout when using them. It's extremely irritating.

I ask this PURELY because I was watching Oprah the other day and the show was on Married couples who's partner came out and said they were gay.. Now there were 4 married couples where the husband had come out and said he was gay and with all the men Oprah was asking questions, being very considerate, asked them how they knew and that it must have been so hard for them to come out, and to live a lie! Now the last couple the wife has said she was a lesbian! Oprah went straight onto the attack continually asking "are you sure its not a phase" and saying well I dont know how you can be having sex with your husband if you are a lesbian.. Keep in mind the (gay) men were having sex with there wives! This really upset me, and it did the woman too! I believe the reason society always thinks its just a "phase" with women is because of all the young girls that go around making out with there friends just to get a guy off.. what do you think?

Straight people don't have to have sexual encounters to be straight, gay people don't.. I don't get it..? Why do you have to experience sex with the same sex to be "considered" bi, instead of bi-curious? Can someone please elaborate.. I don't believe this to be true.

To hear a white people complain of racism is the most absurd thing. White people have not begun to feel the kind of racism that they have inflicted on others. White people have practiced it for centuries. True racism can only be practiced by the people in power.

I really likes this friend of mine very very much, let alone whether he's gay or not coz he can't response anything to me either at this time .. I tried to let him out of my head, but in seems like the more i try the more i think of him.. And one more thing is, I don't find anyone around me that could open up up my heart anymore .. Everytime I date a girl, they either end up cheating on me or dumping me. Throughout the whole relationship i listen to them and respect them and talk everything over. They tell me I really am a good girlfriend, but i keep thinking its my fault. I can never find the right girl, and now I'm starting to hope that one will find me on here! First of all I must stress that Israel and Judaism are not synonomous!! You can be critical of Israel without being critical of Judaism or Jewish people...

But I find it very hurtful that people should accuse me of that just because I think Israel is WRONG to attack Lebanon...

I have always tried to support Israel and not condemn it because I know the situartion in the Middle East is very complex and not one sided...I have always supported Israels' right to exist and have been against all boycots....
I even argue in favour of Israel many times..and that is hard because I am a Muslim..but I try to see all sides...

But why when I point out the stupidity and unfairness of plunging Lebanon into war again I get accused of being a terrorist and an anti -semite??? when I am not.....?

We are both in our 30's. And I have never had sex with anyone. He was the first guy I fooled around with. When he was touching me down there it hurt. So he asked me if I had herpes. Then I was very offended for him asking such a question. He said it could be conjenital. But my parents were virgins before they got married. I am East Indian and my fiance is White. In my culture it is inapproperate for unmarried people to have sexual intercourse or even fool around. So I was hurt when he asked me that. He mentioned to me one time that when he was in high school his girl friends sister had herpes and she was a virgin. And that's why he asked me if I had herpes. He appologized for being insensitive and we got enaged a month later. He is a great guy in every way. He is loving, he is very encouraging, affectionate, a great cook etc, etc. But him asking me this question really hurt my feelings. So am I over reacting? Is it a normal question a guy should ask?
