Straight people don't have to have sexual encounters to be straight, gay people don't.. I don't get it..? Why do you have to experience sex with the same sex to be "considered" bi, instead of bi-curious? Can someone please elaborate.. I don't believe this to be true.

No you don't, that's not true. You do not have to have sex with anybody to know if you're bisexual, you just know.

You are born straight, bi, lesbian, or gay. You don't choose who you can love, you feel love.

Some people know that they are a bisexual at a very young age before they have ever had sex or even know what sex is. They are just attracted to both girls and guys. When they become older and understand more of what that means then they can give you the label. Being bi is being able to have a meaningful relationship with either sex, it is about love, not just having sex.

Love is love.

Bi-curious is just being curious about what it would be like to have sex with the same sex yet only being attracted longterm to the other sex. It really just means you are curious, which is natural but as nothing to do with love and therefore has nothing to do with being bisexual.

I knew I was bi before I was with a man or a woman. I just knew I liked looking at both and wanted to be with both. I think bi-curious is more about wanting to try it because they don't know if they'll like it, but they are open to it. Remember that everyone is different so what you feel may be different from what some one else does. Don't worry about it to much and don't bother labeling yourself. It doesn't matter!

You definitely do not have to have had a sexual experience yet to know you are bi, if you are sexually attracted to both men and women you are bisexual. I think the whole bi-curious thing is kinda dumb, you are either sexually attracted to both sexes or you are not.

Three simple facts remain true.

One does NOT have to have had a sexual experience to know that one is Gay.

One does NOT have to have had a sexual experience to know that one is Straight.

One does NOT have to have had a sexual experience to know that one is all of the above.

It really is that clear.

Gay, Straight, Bi are about emotional attachment and physical attraction and openness to (but not demanding of) sexual activity when all parties are consenting.

I am bisexual, but have never been with woman. I am married, and my husband knows. We have just never wanted a threesome. I would never cheat on him. (If he ever left me, I WOULD, try sex with a girl.)
