I would choose the 22nd-24th century: simply because it would span more total time (200 vs. 50) and therefore be more interesting...
Otherwise, I'd love to have lived in the 1940's

Oh never ever in the past for one and only one reason - women did not have any rights in the 1890s. Women were not persons under the law! They could not vote and were deemed a burden to their family if they did not marry. Not to mention the clothes, beautiful as they were were not healthy to women's waistlines i.e. corsets and the numerous layers a women had to wear i.e. drawers, chemise, petticoat etc...I think the Victorian era was romantic in oh so many ways BUT women got a raw deal. Men reined supreme. Therefore I would definitely want to live in the future. I would hope the U.S. would have a woman president by the 22ND - 24Th century!

I'm biased ... I'll always go for the future ;-)
However, the past would be cool, wanna know why?!?!?
B/c I'd get away WITH SO MUCH STUFF, I'd be a master theif of that time and kick mega @ss and I'd sail the seas with Pirates and do SO much MORE Hahahaha!
I'd be a traveler in the past or future... c0z that far in the future there's bond to be such technology so that everyone has access to it, and in the past I'll just steal a ship LOL!
