Also there was a list if you go to the Princeton Review and seach for "gay friendly colleges" that should give you the "Best 361 College Rankings" and they have the top 361 GLBT friendly list too.
Florida's New College ranked the nation's most gay-friendly, but they don't have very many programs.

Oglethorpe University in Atlanta has a very active LGBT community and is very gay-friendly. It is a small but very good liberal arts college in Chamblee. But don't go there if you're a science person...their program is small.

I had a great time at the University of Wisconsin (Madison), its a great big 10 school with good programs and a fairly steady gay campus beat.
