I ask this because a few weeks ago, I went to an old friends barbeque (male, who happens to be one of these people) and one of his female "sisters", I'm assuming, one of these "Eastern star" persons, got the wrong idea about me and him, and I guess she had a bit too much to drink that night and ended up yelling at me and making an a$$ of herself with my husband standing right there about to jump in her rear...

anyways...to make a long story short, I did nothing to anyone. Said nothing rude to even her after she verbally assaulted me in her drunkeness, and then I and my husband am suddenly "casually" shown weaponry, desert eagles and nines, all carried by the "brothers" of the "sister" that offended me. No one threatened us outright in anyway, but empathically, I could just sense evil and mal intent, and I took heed and left promptly.

Are these people insane? A cult? Or what? I'm still stunned by that experience. Weapons? When this chick was in the wrong? What up with that?

Panacea> Cool man, if thats how you roll, that's how you roll. All I know is I did nothing wrong to anyone. That's on them. People who do me wrong always get whats coming to them, and not by my hands either. Angels from God look out for me, I don't need man's protection. That's why I sensed what I did, but was unafraid. As much crime as they are involved in, it would not stun me to discover that they are now at the mercies of the law...with big guns and lawsuits pointing their way. Karma is a biatch.

Yes; they intend to take over the world. Their charity operations serve to build up their reputation and proselytize people.

Well, basically yes....they are an evil cult. There are many fine books documenting this at your local bookstore. Take a trip down and peruse them to see what I mean.

However, the montana militia treatment is a new one on me. Never heard of masons doing that before. Also, for what it's worth, had you been at a barbecue where a large number of my extended family were in attendence (we are puerto rican and white), you would have gotten the same treatment, maybe from me. Not saying we would treat you bad when some drunk chica was mouthing off to you. But people who abuse female family members have been known to, ahhhh, mysteriously disappear.

This is considered NORMAL behavior in men and families who haven't been pussified by liberalism. You probably should carefully analyze what happened that night to make sure you didn't do something stupid. This sort of thing can be FAR more dangerous than you realize.

The Masons are a " secret society ", NOT A CULT. There's a substantial difference. Secret Societies like the Masons, Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star, Elks, Skull & Bones, Scroll & Key, etc. They use elaborate rituals, symbols, objects, & they seem occult & mysterious, but that's to bind them in a sense of community. I had the same thing in Order of the Arrow ( Scouts ) 25 - 35 years ago. Nothing demonic, Satanic or tainted by witch craft, voodoo, yadda - yadda - yadda. Trust me on this.

No, not evil. no more suitable so than a school fraternity, or the Elks club. the secret factors of popularity have a lengthy history, rooted in oppression of the Masons in a lot of circumstances and many cultures. The history is in basic terms too lengthy to bypass into right here, yet there are some sturdy histories accessible interior the library or e book shop. not on-line. i propose reading Born in Blood. that is controversial, yet may grant you with an theory of what people confronted in former circumstances.

No they aren't a cult. I was a rainbow girl when I was young, they are a group of younger girls 11 to 20 who will eventually become Eastern Stars if they stay in it. I quit because they are based on god and I am an atheist, but no they aren't. Actually those that I know who are in this organization are all very nice people, none of them are gun toting psycho's. Sounds like just one bad group of them.

No they are not a cult. Masonry contributes 3. 5 million dollars per day to charity. There is really nothing secret. There are a lot of members that are human too and can get out of line. Just ignore it. You will find there are a lot of great people doing a lot of great things through Free Masonry. There are 225 concordant bodies of FreeMasonry.

as you well know, the Masons are one of the oldest fraternities in the world, all members are sworn to secrecy, and will defend the organization and it's members to the death, you didnot mention the age grouping of the people at this function,I'm assuming that it was between 30-50yrs, in blk frats, it is also common practice to share/swap girlfriends and or wivies, perhaps this woman thought that you were coming on to her husband /boyfriend,and due to alcohol came out her mouth wrong, the actions from the brothers was in misguided protection of a member * you are not a member?

One drunk does not define a movement.
No; it is not an evil cult. You don't have to take my word for it.
Research the Masonic order in Wikipedia, to get a balanced view.

Well, what little I know of the Masons is that they claim to practice the same temple ceremonies today, as were practiced in the temples of the Bible. I don't know where they claim they got their authority or exact knowledge to do these things *?*
