The American Dream is to work hard for what you get and have the right to protect it and ensure it's safety. If someone is from another country then when they legally come to the US they have the right for education and employment. The American dream is ideally the financial freedom that is not known anywhere else in the world.

The American Dream is the faith held by many in the United States of America that through hard work, courage, and determination one can achieve a better life for oneself, usually through financial prosperity. These were values held by many early European settlers, and have been passed on to subsequent generations. What the American Dream has become is a question under constant discussion, and some believe that it has led to an emphasis on material wealth as a measure of success and/or happiness.

medium size house, white picket fence, and a nice hardwood floor. My feet on the table and cuban cigar. Pretty wife, 2 kids, a dog named rover, 2 cars, mow the lawn on sundays, take the kids to little league, sally learns to tap dance and poker with your buddies on thursday night. 9-5 monday to friday and save a little bit to take a vacation each summer.
