Many homosexuals and non-homosexuals alike agree that the majority of homosexuals are born gay, and discover these as children or adolescents. Should we encourage young gay children, in the hope that they will build strong self esteem that will help them get over social pressures as teenagers and adults? Or should we discourage their behavior in the hope that they will adapt to society and their peers? Or should we leave it alone and wait until they are sexually active?

im 18 and still a virgin
i dont know why i find both men and women equallt attractive, but i know i could never come out to my parents and family. What should i do because im having problems getting a gf and think it would be easier for me to be with a guy RIGHT NOW.

I have had 4 short term relationships and they all have ended with shít like "it never clicked" "I don't feel like it would work out" or I don't feel anything for you. I feel like I can't find anyone out there - why did these fuçkers wait so long into the relationship to tell me this? What does it take to find a good date and possibly a good long term relationship?

Last night a gay couple invited me over to their place after meeting them at gay bar and they just wanted to have sex with me, I was uncomfortable with everything they did that I had to push myself out the door. They told me sorry for the situation. I do not want to meet up with them ever again. Why did they invite me over just to have sex? Am I a loser in not joining in with them? The guy told me that I was the first guy not to kiss him goodbye - should I have kissed the guy goodbye? I am confused about everything right now. I cannot find a boyfriend and any relationship that I have ends up a week later saying "I don't think a relationship would work out between us", or It never "clicked". Why can't I find a boyfriend? Am I too not gay educated or something? Is something wrong with me? Is gay relationships all about sex? I am starting to wish I was asexual so I wouldn't have to worry about any dating ****.

I can't get comfortable. I keep tossing and turning, flipping my pillow to the cool side. One minute I'm hot and then when I take the covers off I get cold. If I use one pillow it's too flat and if I put two it's too thick. I'm too tired to wake up and too awake to go to sleep. I'm restless.

I've noticed that things can get very depressing here in the LGTB section. We've got the angsty teens whose parents wont accept them, the troubled folking struggling with their gayness later in life, the raging phobes, those poor lonley people with bizarre fetishes, and the people trying desperately to get laid.

So to lighten the freakin mood around here, what is wonderful about your life right now? It doesn't have to be a gay thing (although a little hope for our closet dwellers would be nice) and this question is open to straight people too. Lets stop dwelling on the negative for a moment and share how beautiful life can be!

Please answer only if you're a lesbian or have close contact with lesbian community. No "I think" or "I believe" from outsiders please.

1. Is lipstick lesbian mostly a fantasy of hetero men? What is the approx percentage of them within the lesbian community?

2. Are lipstick lesbians mostly straight women who act gay just because it is "trendy" nowdays? Are they doing this to attract men's attention? I see a lot of such acts in clubs lately.

3. How do other lesbians view them within the community?

A gay friend of mine told me that he used to play with G I Joes when he was little. He thinks that's what made him gay, but he's not sure.
