Are there any sources for these claims?
I am, in fact, from Toronto, and have heard rumours that it is the biggest in North America, but can't find sources to back it up.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada has an excellent fun event-filled parade for the whole family annually. Come visit us!

I'm not sure about the biggest. Certainly they have major corporation and major media to sponsor the event. Even the police claim it's safer than a Santa Claus parade. A tribute to a more tolerant society perhaps.

The one in Boston I go to sometimes turns up between 10-15 thousand people...maybe even more, that's just my guess from how many people I saw. The Youth Pride (15-25 mostly) draws about 6,000, and is attended by high school GSA's throughout New England

I heard that in New Orleans that some of the Biggest Parades. I wish I could go.

Chicago has a huge one coming up on June 25. I went to one in Madrid, Spain in July 2004 and it lasted well over 10 hours.
