In movies from the 1980s gays were portrayed as tough guys with leather clothes and moustaches, and now they are niminy-piminiy drama queens. Isn’t that offending for them? Why can’t we see on TV more often ‘normal’ gays?

I would "assume" a 24-year old man {irrespective the background & nationality} would be intelligent enough instead of being condescending to women.

lets forget the immigration debate for a second. Has any one else noticed how hard working so many hispanics are and how dedicated they are to their families? The younger generation of hispanics is biegn caught up in crime which is sad, because so many hispanics have such a strong work ethic. Very few americans can imagine working a 70 work week, and doing it with a smile. God bless them i think this country would be better of if we all worked as hard as they did. I would love to start a Gay-Straight Alliance at my school, but I need a teacher sponsor and I just don't know where I could begin to ask. Also, I am out to all my friends but none of my family, and do you think this is a worthwhile endeavor considering that I know now is not the time to tell them (gearing up for senior year is stressful enough...
