lets forget the immigration debate for a second. Has any one else noticed how hard working so many hispanics are and how dedicated they are to their families? The younger generation of hispanics is biegn caught up in crime which is sad, because so many hispanics have such a strong work ethic. Very few americans can imagine working a 70 work week, and doing it with a smile. God bless them i think this country would be better of if we all worked as hard as they did. And BTW im NOT hispanic im indian

Im not saying hispanics are supierior, im just saying since they have been taking a lot of heat from the immigration that wecan maybe remind ourselves that they are a lot of good people

Lets just analyze your question for a moment....They are working 60 to 70 hours a week and doing it with smiles on there faces, but the younger generation is getting caught up in crime.......Tell me, how can you be totally dedicated to your family, yet statistically, Hispanic youths are 30 times more likely to be involved in a serious crime than Caucasian youths? Maybe if they weren't working so much these hard working dedicated parents could have more time to spend with their children, but instead after a hard days work, 70 to 80 percent drink a case of beer and pass out while their kids are out causing trouble. It's very obvious in all cultures, not just Hispanic, that when there is no parental guidance, or only one parent perhaps, kids are going to get into trouble. But you are right, if we all would just get off our asses, and put some effort in, our country would be amazing.

yes, they are good people. America was made by hard working good people like the mexicans. the country would be srtonger if every one worked as hard as they do but mexicans arn't the only hard working people in this country. a friend of mine was in a construction acciedent not too long ago. he was in the hospital for a while.he had to learn how to walk again. some docters though he would die, but today he is still out there doing his thing with a great big smile on his face.
but he was not mexican
mexicans are not the only hard working, dedicated people in this country.
but i still think if they should become a citizen insted of coming here illigaly

Yes, I am sure that they are a very beautiful group of people. But like every culture there are good seeds and bad seeds. My husband is Mexican and works 6 days a week and I appreciate that from him. He is a great husband and father.
Aren't Indians wonderful/beautiful human beings? I am just happy that they are still around after most of their race was massacred by immigrants.

yes they are very beautiful people, and yes I agree that they are very very family oriented, as a matter of fact I think they are the most true to their families. I also agree that the streets is changing that and at a rapid pace due to these gangs they are involved in. it's sad but all races was once there it is just spilling over from one culture to the next

yes i very much agree. im hispanic and i think that its really rude when ppl just judge us b/c of our race. They always think that we cant succeed in life that we'll always be failures. But were most hispanics works just as hard as americans do.

Yes they are and so are all other ethnic, nationalities, races, ages, genders and sexualities.
The Creator made us all EQUALS.
Not one is better than the other. It's people who are saying they are better than others which is far from the truth.
We are all connected to each and the Universe from which we came.
Of course the connection to the Universe leads us to our connection to The Creator, God, Allah, Yahweh, etc.
For after all it was The Creator that made the Universe.

Yes we are. People hate because they fear the unknown. These same people love hispanic food but don't want the people here. REally sad.

I have met all ethnic groups, and each group has the same traits, hard workers, lazy workers, smart, and dumb people, criminals and others that obey the law. Instead of singling out one group I think we should concentrate on all being good productive law abiding contributors to society.
