Why merely answer this question with words? Why not demonstrate one's answer with one's actions? If a person believes that war is not necessary for preemptive self-defense or for liberation, then they should live in an evil country like the former dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, in it's worst positions, such as torture victim.

Notice how war opponents more often than not simply libellously falsely portray the motives of wars so as to distract from the actual long-term consequences of wars. Such people enjoy the crude blind seeping sensation of disrupting the fine defined clarity of truth, the truth that different countries are separate and distinct. The truth-disruptors often also use the convincing tactic of using the power of suggestion (e.g. "You don't have to admit that I'm right openly, just admit it to yourself"). You can always tell that a person is grossly lying when they use the psychologically convincing tactic of the power of suggestion, because a person that has truth on their side does not need to use such a tactic.

Wars can be never necessary, because we don't need bad things in our life: they come alone. Always when we "need" something, that thing is: a) good, in general, or b) not so good, but it makes us feel good. And believe me: war is not good, and it only can make a couple of people in the world feel good. Peaceful greetings!

No war is NOT necessary. Sure, you have patriotic perople who believe that they are fighting for justice and for the freedom of their country, but the bottom line always has been, and always will be MONEY (ECONOMICS). If it weren't profitable for nations to be warring, they would stop. Many will say that what I have said is absurd, but just mull over this for a while in your own minds in private. You don't have to admit that I'm right openly, jusy admit it to yourself.

No, sure it isn't but people are too stubborn to admit they are wrong. Usually wars are caused by stupid things....we should learn to understand and start a war only when is absolutely necessary.

Sometimes. Certainly war is necessary to defend one's life, and the life of one's countrymen.

I don't think so because as history shows it we keep making the same mistakes. But then again in some small instances it does....
