No, there's no justice system in the world that punishes the children for the sins of their fathers. And in the situation of slavery, many of the people that would be paying for reparations didn't even have ancestors who owned slaves. And furthermore, no black person alive today has actually been a slave. So not only are the perpetrators of slavery gone, but so are it's victims.

yes you owe everyone respect just like I do as a African American all the slavery and racism is the lack of respect for another human being. I personally don't want anyone to payback anything I want to receive respect just like you or anyone else want to receive respect which means equal opportunities. No payback just stop stopping us from having equal opportunity don't Deny us jobs (which still happens a lot) when we are just as qualified. don't deny us loans, education and the list goes on and on.

If anyone deserves anything it is the Native American Tribes that were here before the white man came. They deserve this entire continent from the Arctic (alaska and up in canada) all the way down to Peru etc.
edit: both North American and South American continents

No payback is necessary. The first people to enslave Africans were other Africans.

No payback is neccesary - the people that would be around to recieve it are not the ones that endured anything to deserve it.

No, but according to certain reparations proponents you are reaping the benefits of long-ago slavery, therefore you need to pay for it. I say if they want it, come and try to take it. We'll see who ends up with my money.
