The other day I looked in the mirror and saw a goth. She was wearing a suit because she's a grown-up now and does not go to clubs and shows and cemetaries as much as she used to. Goths come in all shapes and sizes- I just wear my fishnets on the inside these days. Maybe you passed by a polite looking business-woman on the street the other day, not knowing that she was listening to The Mission UK on a blacker-than-her-soul iPod.

I've seen a goth in the past what the said part is I haven't seen any true goths around here for a while. The ones I see now are usually just wearing black and the studs and stuff but not the makeup..and thats the best part

i have seen some people that dressed the part, but i don't know if they were doing so as a fashion statement or they were really into the whole goth thing or not. it seemed like they were trying too hard to identify or fit in with the group they wanted to be a part of. i really don't like categorizing, or putting labels on people, so i don't tend to look at people as goth, emo, punk, hippie, or whatever, just as people.

Not all goths wear black, white make-up, ect...
Very sick of people who put a stereotype on the goth culture..
I know all sorts of goths - some that are Christians, Muslims, and look like "the average person" 70% of the time.
Goths do not always wear black, worship Satan, are not evil, do not want to kill people, do not hate everybody, are not always depressed.. They can be happy too!
Here is a little video on one of my hero's Voltaire that gives his opinion on the subject that I really like:

replying to the video "concept": how messed up is that. you don't blame anything on a group of people. where were the parents when all this happened. where was the family, the friends. ***** ******* ******.
i don't like the word goth, i agree with Nodumgys, death rocker fits better. they're not all depressed all the time, they're people too. i just have no respect for the crying emo lamers

i really hate that term "goth".., i think we used "death rocker", i think i like that better maybe. yah, ive seen a few. they wore black mostly, nothing you could get in a mall, shoes maybe.
sunscreen, but not too much cuz they were asleep all day anyway. not too many fancy dresses and all that, who could afford it?
no lunch pails or any of that crap, how gay. and any piercings were likely to be crooked, you couldnt get those in the mall either, or any tattoo shop for that matter.

Is this anything like Trainspotting? Hmm... very interesting...
Yeah, I've seen a goth. Plenty of them. Lots of black and white makeup and dark clothing and very dark humor. I love it!

Don't see as many as I used to. I think they are all dying out. Probably due to their obsession with death and suicide. Sad but true.
