Would you like to see an end to slave labor and exploitation, a level playing field for competetion, no need for people in poor countries to work illegally in the west.
Obviously it would have to be in the appropriate currency, a living wage.

The Day the Earth Stood Still,is on tonight,would that,or something like that do it? I really forget the ending of that movie maybe I will watch it. Now come on with all of the smart people out there,some one can come up with a very good answer to my question. My reply to my self on the last statement,is it would take all of the people of the world to say YES this is what we want we all want to live together in peace. Is this possiable can all of the people get together and say YES this is what we want. I can not do it no one person or group of people can do it. The problems is i can only do it friday-sunday and i would need to bring my 6 yr old daughter with me bacause i have no one to watch her. im in philly and have been looking but havent had any luck. if somebody could help me find a volunteer situation like the one above i would be thankful.

I need information on where to look for pricing info and where I can find someone to do panels or banners. I have done searches on the internet and all I find is info on trade shows. I was wondering if there is somewhere that does these things for non profit groups at a cheaper price. I am looking for a place that has the supplies for a panel or banner, the stands, and can also do the printing. We do have a graphic designer but may be interested in thier ideas or suggestions.

I'm trying to start a Community Service Project to better the environment and to raise awareness about its current conditions. So far I have things like: beach clean-ups, Writing the government, Visisting classrooms, writing environmentally aware children's books, and holding a local carnival to educate the community. I was wondering if anyone else had some interesting ideas.

Neighbor #1 - He's been building his house for the past 4 years. Nothing big. He never got any permits to build. He ran his water line from the house (washing machine, etc.) so that it will drain into our lake. He thinks he can do this without getting caught. He had someone do the electric and plumbing that didn't have licenses. He said he is planning to rent it out when it's done.
Neighbor #2 - She is thinking about turning him in for not having permits but feels sorry for him because he has worked on this for a long time. Although they are friends with him and know him good enough I do not. I told her she should but she wanted other people's opinions on the subject first. I told her I knew where I could get a lot of different ones.
What do you think?

Im a 24yr old female intersted in starting a community program for teenage girls. I would like for this program to deal with their self-esteem ( how they view themseleves). I would like to find ways to help them deal with emotional stress, negative body image, abuse, disordered eating, and suicidal thoughts.

I'll start: a women with disabilities group, and a yoga class for children with disabilities.
I've also worked with anti-cruelty societies as well as a program to help families with children with disabilities by caring for the children so the parents can relax (respite).

I love volunteer work, don't you? :)
