I feel called to volunteer. You can not be paid for everything. I have volunteered to teach yoga, modern jazz ballet, praise dancing, children's choir, arts and crafts, teenagers rap group, tutring in math and reading, bible studies, gamessessions, aerobics, two summers of summer school, clean up at the church, events usher, wedding coordinator, director for plays.... the list is endless.

I use to volunteer at a retirement home. A group from my high school class built a butterfly garden for the residence, and it is also wheelchair accessable. Also volunteered for Hospice around the same time for 3 years. And volunteered at a doctors office for almost 2 years doing scripts and making patient files. I had to do volunteer work for my Medical Program in High School.

I volunteer working with Youth...I'm currently involved with several different age groups. The two major ones would be Teens, and also nursery age.(Toddlers)
That's about all I volunteer for, because my work takes up most of my time...but like you, I love volunteering.
In the past, I also volunteered working with the elderly...

CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocate. I advocate for children who are in child services' system and insure that their cases are handled in a timely manner. I make sure the children don't get "lost in the system". I'm also looking into starting a program for single moms in NJ.

I work and volunteer at a summer camp for inner city kids. I consider it partially volunteer work because I work more hours than I'm supposed to and don't get paid for those extra hours.
I love those kids.

I teach children karate at recreation centers and don't get paid for it (although it is it's own reward). I also do volunteer work as a security guard at local events such as air shows and races.
