Because they don't want the relationship... they want the sex.
You need to change the type of guy you are looking to meet. Apparently the type you like is all about the sex.

Any guy who wants sex before a relationship is a guy who is not at all interested in a relationship. He just wants sex and is too chicken to admit it. Any guy who is actually interested in a relationship will never pressure you for sex, because he knows that sex does not define or complete a relationship. A true relationship, as most women know, transcends the realm of the physical and is more about the emotional and spiritual connection. While sex can be very powerful and meaningful, it is quite possible, and even preferred at times, to have a real meaningful relationship for a sustained period of time before you think about sex, and any true gentleman will know that. If you date a guy who says he loves you, than he will be willing to wait until you are ready if he truly does. Myself, I waited for marriage because it made my first time extremely special, not to mention my one of a kind relationship with my wife. She shares something that no other woman has ever shared and I with her. Think about that the next time you meet a guy.

The reason is that men want to have sex without the bother of a relationship, and women want to have a relationship without the bother of sex.
Men are designed by nature to look for an appropriate partner to reproduce with, to perpetuate the species. Also, mens' sexual peak is from age 17 to 25. Unfortunately, women's peak is from 25-35.
So if the men you are meeting fall in that age range...
Older men have the same urges, it's just that they have learned to cover them with the vernier of civil behavior. The young men are just being honest.
In a way, I suppose you could take it as a complement-- the men you meet all seem to find you attractive & desireable.

I dun know where you meet the guys. Normally, guys who are serious about relationship will start a relationship with the ladies first and they will never think of having sex. So I think you may have meet guys who are not very serious in starting a relationship with you.

I agree with Silverglade00 when stated the following statement
"A woman needs to feel loved in order to have sex.
A man needs to have sex in order to feel loved."
Another theory is that your meeting the wrong people never sleep with a woman right away..maybe the men you are meeting want to test the product before they buy it...lol

b/c they are male. Women are the standard keepers, and just like w/ kids and dogs, if you turn your back for a minute, they will try something. So don't let them push you into something you don't want to do, but try not to hold it against them b/c that is their nature.
