If you are a compassionate person, and also if you want to help people. You also should think about which field you would like to work in. I am a nurse and I have known since I was very young that was what I wanted to do. I personally have been in oncology, trauma, and now I am in Ophthalmology, assisting in surgery. I love it. Advantages: you are able to help people in several ways and you have an opportunity to make alot of money. Disadvantages: multi- talking, high stress

No.never! The only advantage is that the pay is pretty good. That's the ONLY advantage and it doesn't come close to outweighing the disadvantages such as the stress, the constant understaffing, the impossible workloads, the fact that you are responsible for people's lives and you don't have time to give them proper care, the exposure to life threatening diseases, and the usually demanding, frequently agressive, and more and more often even violent behavior of patients/families. The abusive attitude of doctors toward nurses. The fact that all of your holiday memories will more likely be of various bodily fluids than of your children and family. I could go on, but it wouldn't even begin to convey the true picture. If you want that just Google 'Nursing sucks' . Then you'll have an inkling of what it's like.

Yes if that's what they wanted to do. Advantages would be that you're helping people, perhaps even saving lives; the pay is good, you get to wear scrubs everyday. Disadvantages would be that there is a shortage so you'll work long hours and have more of a work load. You have to take care of cranky, sick whiny people all day. Some doctors don't treat nurses well.

ADVANTAGES: You're helping people, and you're assisting in making someone's life better, even if it is in small ways. Nurses bear great respect in the community for the work they do, and without them we would simply be unable to have a happy and healthy lease on life.

DISADVANTAGES: Every day you deal with the ill and dying. If you become attached to a patient, it's very hard to do what is right, compared to what "you feel" is right. It may dishearten and upset you. You may come home low and depressed.

But I could encourage it. It is well worth the upsets, and you become a great benefit to society. <3.

There were four of them, and one of me. That's right, four huge guys, hirsute and musckly, ready to take my life at a moment's notice. But I had the chainsaw. Damn it, I had the chainsaw...

But could I take them all? I mean, I was only eleven. I wasn't ready for this many combatants, but I needed the money. Besides, it was too late now, and here I was, standing in the blood ring. There was only one thing left to do now.

Pull start the engine.
