and whatever kids used to do. The people that went through my 11 year old sons pockets and took his lunch money were grown-ups.. These guys said sorry but my kid needs pampers. I can't figire why my 11-yr-old was responsible for their kid's pampers even if it was true.

I mean, the LORD knows better than anyone that I am in need. He has silently given my permission to pay Paul (I'm Paul) with Peter's money that's in that delicious basket. Don't take it back, God, don't be cheap like some poeople I know.

Why have working americans always gotten angry at the government for welfare, but not angry about all the money given to other countries? Which is a much larger amount than welfare ever was. I, as a working individual, would much rather help a person who is having a hard time finding a job here-than someone I don't even know about. I would much rather help a family with children who can't support their self than give money to some other country who may later attack ours.

Need ideas for something that can be done just one evening at a meeting. Only about 20 - 25 people in attendance. Not looking to raise large amount, just a little to keep our treasury healthy so we can donate to charity.

I used to frequent a store for a good number of things. I spent roughly $100 a month there. One day I was there the cashier was berating an older gentleman for no reason. He couldn't hear very well and he was patient, but she wasn't. She was making him nervous by her impatience. I never went back to that store because of that. That was about 8 years ago. Now at $100/month for eight years, that's close to $10,000 that store has lost of my business because of one rude employee.

For those kind of cases, don't you think more companies would put more care into their customer services. I see employees being rude places I go, and some places managers just don't care!

Same with a coffee club this place by us had. I had one of those 'buy six get one free' coffee cards and filled it up. Most of the time I chose to get my coffee there because of that offer. Next time I went with my full card they said they no longer take them. For a $1.50 cup of coffee, they lost my business too

In spite of the equal rights as per our constitution and also possessing the right to vote the status a very high percentage of indian women is still not improved. The education and improved way of life is available to a very few people and the largest chunk is still in dark.

Okay my son is acting like really weird. And I once warned him when he tried to get fresh with me. It has become an habbit of him writing me these weird little 'love' notes, and usually slips them into my pocket book for me to find while at work. The notes aren't vulgar but, the way he expresses him self really makes me think a bit.. it kinda turns my stomach to even think of things like this..
I'm afraid to ask anyone I know about him and how he's behaving. I don't want them thinking he's crazy or anything. And plus it would be rather embarrasing for me as well. The things he would say in the notes would go a little something like this : ''Mom, I'm really happy you're my mom. I just want you to know you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. And I love you so much. I'm the luckiest kid in the world to have you as a mom. Whenever I'm out with my girl - pals I always think of you. And how you're so much more hotter than them. I often wish you werent my mom, You are so pretty!''

My city is attempting to establish a committee (of volunteers) to review complaints and/or compliments, by citizens, of discrimination in providing police services. Are these boards effective? What powers or authority does it (the board) need to have in order to fulfill it's mission?
