me and a group of frends want to go down and help out with the rebuilding of New Orleans. i was wondering if anyone knows of any programs.

I had a little road accident last week while driving my bike across London. The cab driver, which was parked waiting for a psger, opened the door without checking the mirrors and made me crash onto his door. I had to go to the hopital and got 15 stiches on my chest. Can send him to court because of that ?

rang de basanti was also an eye opener for the indian youth as is lage raho munnabhai.but both advocate differnet principles with common feeling (or goal). rang de basanti did show a try for satyagrah which failed due to lathicharge. so did our heros lacked patience in rang de basanti or gandhivaad is not applicable. what the right way ........? comment

My dream is to own a home. Being that I live in California...I don't see myself ever affording one here. I have never lived in another state before. Can anyone tell me where you think is a great place to raise kids in a nice neighborhood in a great city that where the housing is affordable. and also an important factor is if I can find a job easily. Our generation has to stop poverty, coz if we dont take any step further, I am damn sure our future generations will care more for themselves rather than of the Poors. The necessary steps that eevery government in this world takes is just 2 to 3 % when compared to the rest of 97-98% of poverty in this whole world. Let everyone answer this question, coz it could activate an Alarm to help the Poor whenever and Wherever possible. All ur comments will someday make u help the helpess. It is an issue that could be easily stopped once and for all. SO WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?

This is something of a story, please bear with me.
My downstairs neighbor frequently play his music excessively loud. And I mean excessively! It rattles the change off my coffee table. I've spoken to him repeatedly, and he always turns it down to merely loud. But then turns it back up within the hour. Yesterday, I had enough, and I called the cops. They were perhaps too effective, they arrested two of my other neighbors who were down their drinking with him. I know this because he came up to my apartment and told me so. He also said, in no uncertain terms, that he was going to slash my tires and his friends in jail were going to come after me. He didn't slash, and I'm not afraid of his friends, as I could easily take them (I weight as much as both of them together and have a black belt). But this is just intolerable, and I don't feel I should have to put up with it. Without getting anyone sent to serious jail, what can I do to make them be more reasonable neighbors?

proping the outer doors open day and night! I have told the apt managers about this and they have done nothing about it. Does anyone have any ideas on what i can do?? All i know is that after 10pm i can call the cops on them because they are extremly loud! Since they have moved in my car was almost broken into and these kids are constantly running in the halls and up and down the stairs, screaming and yelling. This is a security issue and like I said the apt managers are doing nothing. Half of these kids dont even live in the building. I need a little help here I can't have these doors open all hours of the night to let anyone into the building. Any ideas are welcome!! Thanks
