lage raho munnabhai vs rang de basanti?

rang de basanti was also an eye opener for the indian youth as is lage raho munnabhai.but both advocate differnet principles with common feeling (or goal). rang de basanti did show a try for satyagrah which failed due to lathicharge. so did our heros lacked patience in rang de basanti or gandhivaad is not applicable. what the right way ........? comment

Both are good in their own percpectives, but the principles whether they are scientific or social needs some basic requirements (lab environment) to prove or hold them good. Gandhi giri of lage raho was good then because the people against whom it was used were equally receptible to the public mood unlike the now a days politicians who use brutal force against their own voters, people! The rang de basanti is what is now required in the present political conditions of the country!

Its a very difficult question but Rang De Basanti is a better movie than Lage Raho MunnaBhai. If we will analyse, the RDB was more practical situation to happen in recent times and it clearly depicts and explains the real Social and Political condition of our country in terms of youths are concerned. The group of youths depicted in the storyline are very close to real life and todays generation connects with it very easily. The Lage Raho story was lesser practical than RDB and it makes more of a fiction rather than reality. The sequences which are desribed in Lage Raho were more of a fiction whereas RDB was very practical and seems to be more thoughtful. Now if we observe the technical aspect, the RDB was much more sophisticated and efficient than Lage Raho. The primary focus of RDB was a message whereas Lage Raho emphasized more on entertainment.

Rang de Basanti had a Patriotic feel right through . Munnabhai is a film associated with Munnabhai character's exploits with a hiden message .

its like history returned n adapted in contemporary style.
rang de basanti ended with violence.if all youths give up their lives in this way how can we expect any change.
gandhigiri in true sense is required.its not like that you can murder anybody and get away.
plzz be patient n look out for ways to change n not thrash the entire system.

I feel RDB is a much better movie. The way they have shown the movie is an eye-opener which I feel is incomparable. Even RDB wasnt against satyagraha but showed the other way.

i dont believe in gandhiwaad....i think if gandhijii wasnt there to promote non-violence,,,,we would have attained freedom long before....are saalon ko maar maar ke kab ka bhaga diya hota...aur aaj humaara desh bhi bahut aage hota...so i guess i wud prefer RDB and whole of the youth will support this answer.
