lol someone was telling me that in the bible when it says that God made Adam from dust then breathed life into his nostrils that it wasn't a man but the first living thing in which we all evolved from.Does anyone agree with that?

Also, in Luke at the lineage of Joseph it says at the end it says, (Adam the son of God.)

I'm assuming this means in the physical sense, for only Jesus is the literal/Spiritual Son of God, Correct?

Lastly, they are two very different lineages.

Servants of the Catholic church take a vow of poverty. We know that this applies to everyone from the Pope on down to Priest and Nun.
Given this fact, how then, does the Roman Catholic church justify keeping it's vast treasure in storage? When the bible clearly instructs the church to accept tithes and offerings to live on, and to further the spread of the gospel?
Secondly, there are individula RC churches which are going bankrupt for lack of monetary support. It matters not what their attendance is. Some are in poverty stricken areas where members are unable to tithe, some are in areas where members refuse to tithe. Why isn't the Vatican supporting these churches so that they may remain open to do the work they were called to do in ministering to these people?

why is it that most Australians, don't have much melanin in their bodies, i have tried to find a full Australian, that has a considerable amount of melanin on their skin!!

and have failed miraculously!!!!

no full Australian, is dark!!!! none have really dark skin (and if you do find one with dark skin, he/ she wasn't born like that, he / she got the dark after birth .

And he's a very smart Catholic. But the main point that I can't get passed is his rationale for the validity of the Bible. He says that, "The Bible was written by many people over the course of thousands of years (including the OT), and it makes a very consistent story."

Does the fact that the Bible is consistent throughout make it any more real? Is that leverage he can use against me?

Traditionally a freethinker would be considered a rationalist who is an atheist or agnostic. However, I personally disagree with this definition. While I do believe most freethinkers consider themselves atheist or agnostic, I believe saying a freethinker can ONLY be atheist or agnostic is a contradiction to the term "freethinker". Someone who thinks freely cannot be limited in their thinking, and therefore must be free to believe in god on their own terms if they so choose. Personally, I do not have a belief in a supernatural being of any kind, however, I can appreciate there may be personal benefit, at least psychologically, of allowing yourself to be inspired by something larger than ourselves. Would be great to read your points of view on this topic!

Once there was a millionaire who had a collection of live alligators. He kept them in a pool at the back of his mansion.

The millionaire also had a beautiful daughter who was single. One day, he decides to throw a huge party.

During the party he announces, "My dear guests, I have a proposition to every man here. I will give one million dollars or my daughter to the man who can swim across this pool full of alligators and emerge unharmed!"

The why does it say in a part of my Bible "You should be perfect there for God is" or something like that. In other words it's saying you should be perfect. Why does it say that if we sin and no one's perfect? Does it mean just try to improve on your self?

If Yeshua's father is god, and Mariam was a virgin when she birthed Yeshua, that means that genetically speaking, Yeshua was not related to Yosef, who was supposedly of David's line.
