Moses is also referred to as Elohim in Exodus 7:1. Does this mean that there were three of him?

Dagon is also referred to as Elohim in ISam5:7. Does this mean that Dagon was a trinity?

Nehemiah 9:18 uses the term Elohim to describe the molten calf that was made by the Jews when they left Egypt. How many calves did they have? Were there three, or were there three persons in the calf?

There are many other verses that use the term Elohim to refer to a singular person or idol, with no hint of plurality to it.

Why is it that when the same term is used for God, that it suddenly means that there are three of them?

When God put the tree of knowledge and the tree of life in the garden of Eden, didn't God KNOW that A&E would do it?

If God knew it would happen, why did he punish A&E and everybody after them?

And if God knows that there is going to be a great falling away, as the Bible says, does that mean that God is responsible for it? Does God control everything? If he knew I would not be able to find reasonable evidence or a significant compelling in my spirit to believe the Bible, even before I was born, How can I be judged for that?

I would like to believe the Bible, but I have absolutely no compelling reason to, aside from emotionalism, or an extremely faulty and cumbersome apologetics!

God foreknew, did He not? Before God created the first being, he knew that some of them would rebel. God put within the creature the seed of rebellion.

Even Lucifer, who was closest to God rebelled. God knew this, yet created Hell and destruction for him to die in.
Where did this evil come from?

Why is there food which we can only eat after it has been cooked, for example meat which may contain parasites or cannot be digested raw without making us ill or plants which are not platable or digestible raw? Examples: eggs, potatoes, swedes, nettles.
Someone else asked and it got deleted so I thought I'd try and ask it again.

I had a friend who was Mormon. When she passed (too young, I'd say), her close friends were not allowed to come to the temple for services. Later, they had a viewing of the body at a local funeral home. We went there and we saw her dressed in this Wedding Dress-Like get up. It was disturbing. When I looked closely at her, I saw little gold triangles all over it. What does this mean, please?

Is demonic possession running rampant or something? Wouldn't investing in flu shots for the impoverished be a better way to ward off "demons" (a.k.a. germs)?

Christian is the big title that contains all other groups (catholics, protestants, mormons, anglicans....), so anyone who considers him/herself just a christian means he accepts and agrees with all the differences contained in the dogma of the different christian subgroups

First off--- its a _rare_ occasion when something good happens to me. I get my hopes hope on somehing... and everytime they come crashing down every time. But for some reason i have a good feeling about this one... i think it just maybe might come true.

Okay soo... my 2007 New Years Resolutions were to make a new best friend [i made two]. And then my second was to come out to a person [i came out to both of my best friends and they were completely okay with it]

2008 Resolution is to find a boyfriend. I finally got the courage to go to my guidance counseler and ask abou a Gay/Les/Bi club at our school. At the begging of the year i thought it was just a rumor... but so many people have talked about it, i dont think it is. So anyways... i finally got the courage to go and ask and one of my best friends is coming with me for support [which i think is completely awesome =D].
I hope to join the club, and in doing that, i hope it will make things easier talking to other gay guys.....

Why would they resort to this type of teaching, and do humans even understand there significant meanings today?

My opinion- We can't always blame technology when it comes to leadership of the future generation. Although.... some people are sick in the head to begin with and some games out there do help contribute them to "snap" that much more. These kinds of games haven't been around for all that long so it might take a few more decades to see what damage they do or don't do.

Whenever I try to watch shows like Project Runway or A Shot at Love, my dad makes me turn it off because there's gay people on it.

I don't see anything wrong with gay people and I have nothing against them whatsoever. And I get really mad when my dad says mean stuff about them.

And please don't get mad at me for posting this or anything, but I really hate that my father is like this.

Do you guys have any ideas to help me make him you know, not like, mean?

worshipped a higher power of some kind, whether it be a Sun God, a Thunder God, maybe an Apollo, maybe Totems, maybe a Rainbow Serpent, maybe the God of Israel, maybe Allah (the same??), or maybe even the Virgin Mary, Egyptian Pharohs etc. etc. Do human beings have an inate drive to worship something that maybe cannot be Scientifically proved??? and why in this day and age does it seem a lot think it is an either/or question re God and evolution. Please explain.

Can a Christian be for the death penalty?

The Bible says, Thou shalt not kill.

Should God have added something to that commandment like, "except for death penalty cases"?

Or should God have rather said, "Thou shalt not murder."
In 1611 when they wrote the KJV, didn't they know that "murder" would be a little more accurate than "kill"?
God commanded his people to kill all kinds of people (witches, gays, false prophets, unclean people, etc.) Today, those things would definitely be considered murder.

It seems that human morality has simply changed with the NT being a "moral update." Like the Mormon racist updates.

But I know you cannot change the Bible, because the Bible says that anyone who changes the Bible should be killed...

So can we kill insane murderers or not?

How about witches and homosexuals, like the Bible says. Are we supposed to read the Ten Commandments and then later read the things that contradict the earlier things and just go with the "latest" information?

How do we know God exists? The Greek myths were written down, and we KNOW they were fake, but on the other hand, the bible was a book, how do we KNOW that those events even took place. What does going to church do.

By the way: I am a Christian and I am not stupid to know what you do in church. But WHY???/

i just don't get it..

is there any PROOF any of this even happened???!!!

please help me

You can answer this question in any way, in any language, in any answer from a source, in any Biblical Scripture, or in any of your beliefs. I'm just very curious about the answers that will appear in this question that you guys will put.

Let me share my answer of in my view for this question, ( I believe in the bible) by reading and contemplating the bible in Genesis chapter 4, I believe that Cain was the first human murderer because he killed his brother Abel.

"But who taught Cain how to kill and if they were one of the earliest humans then how do they know what is death?" I strongly believe that only Satan/Lucifer or the devil could have told him or tempted him or gave him that instant knowledge to know how to kill.
