and since evolution proceeds by the accumulation of many small scale changes,

if there were no barrier to these small changes, you would expect the changes to give an incredible diversity of living organisms (the way the fossil record shows).

So, what barrier to constant change do you propose?

(This will be about the 6th time I've asked this question, and no creationists have ever attempted a serious answer).

Merry Christmas

(I would give them a) plague with which (I) will strike all the nations that fought against (me): Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. (If they mess with me) men will be stricken by (me) with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other. A similar plague will strike (their) horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

But I love everyone.

and eat a glorious meal that 99% of the world can not afford, surrounded by the warmth and comfort only loved ones can provide, they still seem to not understand the magnitude of each moment in time. They see only dinner and Christmas; while I see God's gift of life. Besides my rhetoric and scripture which they do not believe, How do I show a group of loved ones that have experienced much pain that through God we can make life special? In other words, How may I bring the truth to them when I am a nobody?

If the Sabbath was set aside by God as a day of rest, why do many Christians go out to eat and make someone work to prepare their meal? Isn't this hypocritical, and wouldn't it be better for Christians to do things together with their personal or Church families instead?

For me, there are a few that stand out. One was our puppy Wilbur, who we rescued from the dog pound on Christmas Eve as a companion for our other dog, Harvey.

The others are things people made me, like a new hat my neice knitted me, a tea box my brother made, ornaments painted by kids, the woodcarvings my Dad did, and a doll blanket my Mom sewed me.

My best all time bought gift was a wheelbarrow....My husband and I had been looking for a farmhouse for several years, and I said that when we had a barn and big garden, I wanted a wheelbarrrow. We still hadn't found the house, but he remembered that, and it meant the world to me, because it was part of a dream of a different life. We live that life now.

Why is it that people say so sorry for you to work the holiday, but if they would just stay at home I wouldnt have to be.

I love my job but it gets old hearing that line.

How do you respond?

Christmas symbols are snow, frost, green fir trees. Activities include drinking and partying, feasting and kissing women under mistletoe. Santa was essentially invented by Coca Cola wasn't he?

Since the Jehovah's Witness organization currently Rejects most of the teachings of its founder Charles Taze Russell (who was president of the organization from 1879-1916), and since they also reject "Judge" Joseph Franklin Rutherford, who succeeded Russell as president from 1916 - 1942,
how can we be sure that in 25 more years, Jehovah's Witnesses won't also Reject their Current President they have today as they did Russell and Rutherford?

What kind of Confidence can anyone have in an organization that Rejected its founder and first two presidents for the first 63 years of its existence?
This represents about 53% of the time they have existed!
