God do not have gender bias,we are doing disservice to god by discriminating women in many spheres including religion and spirituality.In Indian vedic scriptures,women are not discriminated at all.There are names of more than thirty women in Reg.Veda to whom it is revealed.Women had full vedic rites and allowed to study Veda,for example,imam mantram patni patheth,let this mantra be recited by wife and also, brahmachayena kanya vindate patim, after studying vedas,the girl start searching for the groom.There were women godess who had greater strenghth than male Gods! women have to perform many duties like taking care of their family members, cooking for everyone, n other household activities. these activities look small, but they are very important. men, on the other hand, do great things which are also important, but not so much. women turn a house into a home. and this work takes a lot of their time n energy. so, women just have to support their husbands in religious activities, because they are already doing more important things at home, like keeping everyone happy. men do all the religious things, and pass on some of the 'punya' to their wives.

In Islam women rights are protected in accordance with the Holy Koran and the teachings of Mohammad(SAW).When one talk about equity yes e.g education is for all man and women.But not equality.In Islam we talk about speciality rather than equality.A parent would more worried if her daughter comes back late in the night,compare that to his son.Why the in equality.In a case of accident the daughter had a deep cut in the face.How would the father react!Compare that to his son!
