Reading is not believing. Many people read it and very simply do not believe it. Others know doctrine and think they believe it, but actually distrust it not having proof (blind faith). Very few have proper revelation of the Holy Spirit.

The difference is trust. It's hard to trust what anyone tells you, because only God speaks the truth a person can trust. With God (the Holy Spirit) we distrust lies and we know truth. If you trust lies it is very hard, downright impossible, to know the truth.

There is no wisdom in distrusting the truth, and yes, there are many people preaching deception. They condemn God's children, denying the Holy Spirit of God among mankind.

God is neither a belief or a religion. In fact many of the people who don't believe the Bible is because of God Himself. Just because a person doesn't know that God exists, doesn't mean that God doesn't fully know and guide them!

All should know/(trust) Him. Nobody trusts the Bible unless they trust (know) God.

All of Jehovah's Witnesses agree on the same thing, provided there is clear Scriptural support for it. -1 Corinthians 1:10

There is a difference between "just reading" and "reading with understanding." Look at the bible-only fundies...they read the Bible without understanding. Now they go around asking if you are already saved or are born again. Then they damn you to hell when you do not agree with them. Do you think the world needs more people like them?

If one billion read it, 19 billion don't. That leaves room for even more religions. As the Bible is often contradictory and largely metaphorical, it is open to interpretation by anyone who reads it.

There are plenty of people who completely agree on everything their preacher teaches. The sheeple out there will belief anything they are told if the delusion makes them feel better about their life.

There are already 33,000 to 38,000 different Christian denominations so I think you might be close to the truth.
