...over-indulgence?

The Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger or Tasmanian Wolf) has peaked my interest for quite some time. One of my favorite animals. Allegedly extinct, the Thylacine is a marsupial with a backwards facing pouch (like the Tasmanian Devil), that resembles a wolf, can open its mouth amazingly wide, and has the stripes of a tiger. It is said that the Thylacine is the "perfect example" of convergent evolution. I pose a question as to the origin of this animal if evolution were 100% fact.

I work at a retail store, and they make me walk up to every customer, greet them, tell them our sales, ask them what they're shopping for, and basically track their activity through the store...giving them more clothes to try on, suggesting more things, etc etc...

ANyway, it DRIVES ME CRAZY and I know that I want to be 100% left alone in a clothing store unless i need help, in which case I'll ask for it.
My question is...do you like to be greeted and all that crap when you walk in the store or do you find it annoying and you would rather be left alone?

When in an uncomfortable, awkward situation for example with very shy, quiet people, those you have little in common with or those you know very little about, what are your usual conversation starters? How do you get the conversation to flow? People to relax? etc. I want to hear some unusual conversation starters not normal and boring ask them about there job? etc because this doesn't make the conversation flow.

I've been going to the same sandwich shop for lunch the last four months and since they are very friendly and obliging I bought a Christmas box of chocs to say thanks. I am now however wondering if this isn't silly? They are just doing their job after all but to me it just isn't a given that people 'just doing their job' are also nice with it so I thought it deserved a little thank you. Is that absolutely not done or would it be ok?

I would be highly interested in hearing anything anyone knows about the astral plane. (Would prefer non-sarcastic replys, thanks.) I find it to be a very engaging topic. I am just curious as to what the level of belief in it is among the masses. Does lucid dreaming cause one to enter the astral plane? I've heard a lot of varying opinion here. Thanks in advance!

Please don't give me the answer that compare your biological father and God. Your father is not benevolent, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

Something else , please.

Let's face it, Messianic Judaism and Isarlaism are very different. Yet it seems that Isarlaism is more in line with Christianity and seems to be extremely gentile friendly, while the same cannot be said of Messianic Judaism as a whole. Does anyone think that Isarlaism will have an impact on how Christians view Messianic Judaism, either positively or negatively?

So you're lawfully married in Islam. And you get divorced if it doesn't work out? But it counts as a divorce. I assume the divorce isn't the same as it is in the West...

Can you explain this to me. I don't know too much about it but it'd be interesting to find out.

Im confused wether The Trinity is Biblical or not. I've been going through The Bible and Thomas said to Jesus "My Lord and My God" yet earlier in scripture Jesus prays to the father. Also in Revelation it states that No one except The Father knows the exact time of Christ's comming, not even Jesus knows the exact time. So it seems that The Son and The Father have different minds.

I need to be cleared up in this because im confused... Please help me figure this out.

I just quit my job and am very angry at all involved.
My ex boss does VERY illegal fraudulent things (but this isnt why I quit, it was a personality clash) and as he is in the medical profession, if he were to be caught he would lose his registration, face a hefty fine and possibly serve time.
Worst of all he is also Christian minister so he does know better but thinks that he is committing victimless crimes, or so he claims.
As I am very angry and bitter I am very tempted to write to the appropriate authorities and tell them everything, however I would only be doing this out of spite, which conflicts with my Christian beliefs. But at the same time, if I were to let him keep offending how does that affect my Christianity? I dont want to be a hypocrite like him.

Even if you arent Christian I would still be intersted to read your answers. Thanks :)

Because if infinity is behind us it is mathematically impossible to ever get to this point in time. Might sound silly at first but the math on that is actually very simple and the math doesn’t lie. Time must have a beginning point.

Think about it before you answer. Go ahead, draw your symbolic timeline backwards to infinity and do the addition to get to today.
