I think he does, all the time. "If you do this you might be hired for job x...", "can you hook me up with person x, whom you know, and we can talk about future careers for you..."
It sounds so obviously blackmail- mild maybe- but still I will do x if you do y. Sometimes more subtle, but still obvious. He is so pushy, so ambitious, that I am nothing but a pawn to him. I have to tell him constantly about my business contacts to keep in the game and he is "nice" because he thinks I can help him, that I can delve into my list of contacts somehow. I don't know if I would last if I didn't have a good network. It really upsets me. This is the same boss who dumped on my at the Xmas party. Same aggressive guy. I am 32 in April and he is only 34. He is some whiz kid I guess who fast-tracked his way to where he is now. He was a whiz with figures you see. Great with finance and accounting and it was his ticket.

I suggest that Christians rethink their religion and decide if Jesus was pulling their leg. Did Jesus rescue Christians from eternal Hell or not?

Okay so really before anyone knew the world was round, people thought it was flat. So at the time (before this discovery) essentially what your saying is that flat believers had nothing to prove? So it was those who thought the world was round that had to prove that the world wasnt flat?

Isnt that the same cop out atheists say, God believers have to prove, yet we atheists have nothing to prove?

This is what I dont understand, atheists haven't proved anything...both sides are playing on a matter of faith. So am I saying you're absurd for being an atheist...NO! But I am saying its absurd that you think you have nothing prove.

You have your existance to prove...to say we are just here is a cop out, to say we (as in this universe or matter) existed forever is fine...though its not fact...in fact Hawking doubts any infinite values in matter. Thermodynamics does not say matter or energy existed forever, its that when it began to exist its remains infinite.

So explain?

You believe that God will be glorified whether that person was written into the book of life or not. Will you tell a child that you don't know whether their loved one was taken into the arms of God, or condemned to an eternity of hell because this is what they deserved?

They need an answer, and a good one. What will you tell them when they ask where Mommy or Daddy is?

I am Robot. Hi there. It is an interesting fact that many
Atheists, are highly intelligent human beings. Even I would
agree with that. But of course I can stump them, like
I have in the past..... No need for the mind games though.
Was just wondering, does being a super intellectual,
put you further away from God ? If you are bombarded
with what the Bible calls, worldly wisdom. Some people
of that statue, or class, have what you call the dip stick
syndrome. Like they got hit by one. In other words I go
back and check certain errors, and find that Atheists
often go over the line of logic. It is called a Neo Wall,
where they deem everything they say to be right, and
politically correct. Like telling me about mispelled words.
When many of you, have no knowledge of Old English,
and realize that some words have 2 spellings, with the
same meaning. But stupidity comes into play. Is that
considered over analystic intelligence ? And do Atheists
worship..

Saint Nicholas of Myra was a 4th century Catholic (i.e. Christian) bishop of Myra in Lycia, a province of the Byzantine Anatolia, now in Turkey. Nicholas was famous for his generous gifts to the poor, in particular presenting the three impoverished daughters of a pious Christian with dowries so that they would not have to become prostitutes. He was very religious from an early age and devoted his life entirely to Christianity. In Europe (more precisely the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Germany) he is still portrayed as a bearded bishop in canonical robes. Long after his death, the relics of St. Nicholas were transported to Bari in southern Italy.

Do I believe in Santa Claus? Yes. Why? I believe in Santa Claus, because he is real. He lives in heaven, as do all who have died in God's friendship. This is a truth of the Christian faith.

CHRISTIANS: Why do you sit back - and even occasionaly join in - when this great saint is mocked and reduced to some children's fairy tale?

Not to start a war here, just hear me out. Christmas and Easter holidays are called Winter and Spring celebrations and have been for several years. There is nothing about Jesus or anything religious about a 'holiday' celebration at public elementary school. I am totally cool with that because I don't think the school has any business educating my children on any religion. As a parent, that is my job 100%. The issue I have is that they DO try and educate in a matter of a week, my child on the "main" religious activities of the holiday season. I happen to be christian/baptist btw. My kids always come home singing Kwanzaa, Hanukah songs etc. Especially my son in 1st grade-I feel like HOW DARE YOU teach my kid these things? He is way to young to get persepctive of other religions right now. Perfect example is that he told me he wants to be jewish and celebrate hanukah because they get to open presents every day instead of waiting for Christmas morning. It makes me so mad. (cont)

Like there won't be enough water and food for all of us one day. And also do you think we'll run out of space to burry the dead? Like seriously do you think this is possible? In all honesty I could see it happening but not in our life time. Yeah I know I got a pretty crazy mind.

My name is Idrissa and I need someone to pray for my soul. I am scared of the afterlife and I have lived a life of wickedness. I know I deserve hell but I don't want to grit my teeth in pain for all of eternity. Please, can someone seriously pray for me?

*No offense to the gesture, but I don't need advice just prayer.

Do you think it is Cute when you Lie to others about Santa Clause? Do you think it is healthy for people to believe in a person with God Like Attributes (Eternal, Know when you are Good and Bad, Has God Like Speed that can go to every home in one night). And later on realize that if Santa is not True then God must also not be True. Don't you think this atitude reinforces a Secular(Athiestic) Nation? Or is it that you like to see Kids Happy with Lies having a Fake view(Imaginary) of this world? Do you think it is healthy to live with Lies? Or Is it because you have a serious Doubt in the Existence of God that you have to take it out on him with this deciet?

Once again i am just playing with an idea here, please do not take offence... i also realise that i have made some shockingly offensive assumptions so please bear with me.

Assumption #1 - People with a low IQ reproduce at a younger age (higher IQ people are too busy with jobs etc)
Assumption #2 - If two thick people have kids there is a good chance that their kids will be thick as well

If the thick are reproducing at a higher rate than brainy people does this mean that the human race is doomed to an ever decreasing IQ?

Of 57 Islamic countries in the world, 7 have a law condemning to death anyone who leaves the faith. And Pakistan is currently considering adopting the same legislation. Why???

In the UK, there are currently several young women hiding after their lives have been threatened because they left Islam. Again, why, can anyone explain the logic?

In a study conducted by think tank Exchange Policy, 36% of British Muslims believe that those leaving Islam should be killed.

Please, can someone tell me how this is reconciled with what Muslims keep telling me about Islam being 'the religion of peace'?

For example, many people in the former Soviet Union were brought up believing that Communism was the best answer. They devoted their lives to it.

When the inevitable crept in (a failed economy, innate corruption) they were suddenly forced to realize that all that they believed in was false.

Do you think so many had such a hard time with this because they did not want to admit to having wasted their lives?

Were they offended that others were telling them this?

Can you relate this question to anything else that may be slowly be happening today?

Is there any kind way to tell people that all they have lived for their whole lives is false?
