I am Robot. Hi there. It is an interesting fact that many
Atheists, are highly intelligent human beings. Even I would
agree with that. But of course I can stump them, like
I have in the past..... No need for the mind games though.
Was just wondering, does being a super intellectual,
put you further away from God ? If you are bombarded
with what the Bible calls, worldly wisdom. Some people
of that statue, or class, have what you call the dip stick
syndrome. Like they got hit by one. In other words I go
back and check certain errors, and find that Atheists
often go over the line of logic. It is called a Neo Wall,
where they deem everything they say to be right, and
politically correct. Like telling me about mispelled words.
When many of you, have no knowledge of Old English,
and realize that some words have 2 spellings, with the
same meaning. But stupidity comes into play. Is that
considered over analystic intelligence ? And do Atheists
worship..

Do they worship their own intelligence ?
Because maybe in the minds of highly
intelligent beings, they are their own
god..... Giving themselves the credit,
for life, and existence. And not being
held accountable, for a sense of
spiritual moral obligations.....

Funny you should bring this up! My employer announced to me on a business trip that he was denouncing God. He has been reading that new book out called something like "In god we don't trust". And I have to agree with what you said. He thinks his **** don't stink. And all he talks about is himself and all the things he has done and where he's been and how much everything costs...Flips me out how concieted he is...So the answer is YES!!

At the end of the day, people (of all denominations) seem to pick and chose the best phrase to attempt to belittle those that do not agree with their own group's view. Some Christian's even take it that one step further and go and invade that country that annoys them.

As for making a sweeping statements on people which will have all types (intellectual, or otherwise) within that group, I wouldn't be daft enough to make that assumption.

Btw ... If they were to worship themselves as Gods, they wouldn't be Atheist would they. As they would believe in a god. But hey, lets face it, there are people out there in YA land that get points for stating (hilariously) that being Agnostic is a religious group ... so it matters little what small intelligence is around, however inferred.

No, i don't worship something. I even have met many those with severe IQs yet have not have been given the experience to return in out of the rain. We did not evolve from Chimps, we share a straightforward ancestor with them. Why is it too complicated for Theists to %. up a technological know-how e book to comprehend the place different each physique is coming from? I even have study the Bible and that i'm working with the aid of the Qu'ran so as that i'm able to ascertain the place Christians and Muslims are coming from and that i've got healthful discussions with JWs to extra my information with them however the way a Theist tries to comprehend an Atheist is "Why are there nevertheless monkeys?"

Hi robot. How are you this fine day?

Atheism has nothing to do with intelligence - I've seen a number of atheists who shared their level of intelligence with a hindu or christian, for example, with the only difference that they chose not to believe in a god.

Although I do think that intelligence should be worshipped. And if intelligence closely relates to lack of religion, doesn't that make you wonder at all?

Many of us actually do have a knowledge of Old English, even of other, even older languages, and are just being a bit nitpicky - because it's fun. And I doubt very much that your misspellings would be correct in Old English. Not to mention that to be able to communicate properly in this day and age, you are expected to speak the most recent version of the language used.

Short of living in a place where the accent relates closely to a centuries old version of the language, where else would they understand you if you uttered a word like "keep ye roving eye ter yerself?"

Intelligence has nothing to do with whether or not you accept nihilism.

How can you go over the line of logic? What does that mean? Is that a bad thing?

You seem to have a knowledge of Old English 800.

It's Do atheists, not does.... so we're intelligent enough to phrase a question correctly. So stump that. By the way, why have you chosen the name of a serial killer? And what is your obsession with gays, are you repressing something? Or do you think that insinuating somebody is gay is really big and clever and not in the least bit schoolboy and juvenile?

Atheism is simply a lack of belief. Agnosticism is being unsure either way.
Intelligence (IQ) doesn't really come into it.

If you have no religious belief and don't follow a religion why, what or how would they worship?

Religions often impress on their worshippers the importance of Belief or Faith; it implies that you will have faith or believe what you've been told without question, even if you have no direct evidence for them being true/real/provable.
How many other things are they likely to believe without question?

yeah...I think you are just dumb..but being Atheist is not about being our own Gods, it's about living life without beleiving in something we cant see...illusions if you will. The world lives with its *** cheeks sqeezed tight with all that none sense about how you should live your life and what is moral and what is not. Bible beleivers are followers, people who cant seem to live without someone telling how to do it. Then you turn and judge everyone else. The world has an order and we still have to survive, thats all that matters. Does not mean I have no morals, I still prespect everyhting else..I just live it out as I like to live it.

First of all, I don't worship anything and I especially don't worship my intelligence, because I'm the first to admit that I'm prone to stupidy. Far, far from being super intelligent. But I have something that perhaps you lack. I stand with my two feet firm on the ground and refuse to live in the clouds. It's not called intelligence - it's called common sense.

No, I don't worship common sense either.

Nothing to do with intellect, but have problems with a group who follow a book they says slavery was OK, that you could be stoned to death for violating the sabbath and even now causes tens of thousands of deaths each year through AIDS are overpopulation by forcing its views on contraception to the most venerable.

If you think that is a good and decent society to be part of, then good for you.
