I wanted to keep costs down by giving "family" gifts to a few of my more distant relatives. What do you think of a holiday CD, or family game, .... any suggestions?

It is clear that lies are mixed into "Christianity". Why do we tell our children that a fat man in a red suit comes down the chimmney with presents? Once they find out that it was all a lie, will they think Jesus is real or will they wonder if He was part of the fairy tale also? Why do Pastors and Priest and decons and elders say nothing to the churches to stop the worship of Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Did Christ die on the cross and come back from the dead on the 3rd day or was it really the Easter Bunny? Santa and the Easter Bunny get the recognition? I told my children that Santa Claus was a made up character to keep people from knowing who Jesus Christ is. Was I wrong? How would you feel if you had a birthday party on your birthday and everyone celebrated an invisible man and a dead tree, and ignored you?

Apparently he looked up my yahoo answers after i told him not to. In one I mentioned his gifts I got him. I had things private, but apparently there is a loophole. If you get on google and type "the person's account name and yahoo answers" and all my questions came up. What a disappointment. Should I give his gifts to someone else? Or is he a jerk after I made him promise to not try to find my questions/answers and he did anyways? BTW we are in our late twenties.

To those that believe the earth is millions of yours old, and there is no GOD (YHVH), were is your proof?
1) It can not be in the fossils, because there are no transitional forms. They have all been positively identified as something else.
2) It can not be in carbon dating, it is based on 4 assumptions that can not be proven, and 1 was proven wrong.
3) It can not be in radium/argon dating, because this has been proven wrong several times.
4) It can not be in the geological columns, because that has been proven to have all been laid in a very short time. (trees and animals buried going thru several layers)
so please, tell me... what is your proof?

we talked about this all through history class....
because of some scandal, people are debatin whether or not mall santas should be able to say hohoho... they think it mite be offensive tto women cuz "ho" is some slang word "hoe". They also think they should change it to "hihihi" but that is like "drug reference"...(high). I personally think they should be able to say hohoho because they arent pointing at women and yelling hoe,hoe, hoe... and even if they are, its their right. plus if santa starts saying something else it mite confuse lil kids. so i just wanna know your thots

I have worn a gold chain and crucifix for as long as i can remember.at least 1/2 of my life i am now 27 and have serious doubts about everything about organized religion. I do believe in having faith(although not sure about my own) but to a certain degree i feel like a hypocrite for continuing to wear this. should i continue? should i save it for possibe future use, or just sell it at the pawn shop(it is gold). also , it was a gift from my father so i have to take that into account.

You have only two parties, if both of these parties agree on something which majority may not agree youhave no choice. Both of these parties have to get fund from major corporates. Mostly same companies provide funds to both of the candidates. It is impossible for a person to win election without raising the funds. So, is this really possible to make a political decision which is against the interest of multinationals and in support of common man.

Ok so every year my dad picks one of my presents and gives me 3 clues to try to guess whats inside. If I get it right, he gives me $50. However, guessing correctly is almost impossible and I have never won. Any help is greatly appreciated. So here are the clues.
1. I'll flip over this gift.
2. Sing like a bird
3. Car is involved, but then again, no it isn't.
Also, it might be helpful to know that I am an 18 year old boy. I plan to post the correct answer after I have unwrapped my present on christmas eve. Thanks for your help.

Catholics believe that salvation comes first from God's grace and that we are saved by cooperating with this grace with faith AND works. (It is important to note here, that Catholics are NOT talking about works of the law as often spoken of by Paul. Paul condemned the Pharisees for observing the law but not showing love. Catholics are speaking of works of "faith" such as obedience to God, love, service, etc.)
