Ok so every year my dad picks one of my presents and gives me 3 clues to try to guess whats inside. If I get it right, he gives me $50. However, guessing correctly is almost impossible and I have never won. Any help is greatly appreciated. So here are the clues.
1. I'll flip over this gift.
2. Sing like a bird
3. Car is involved, but then again, no it isn't.
Also, it might be helpful to know that I am an 18 year old boy. I plan to post the correct answer after I have unwrapped my present on christmas eve. Thanks for your help.

1. I'll flip over this gift: means this is something he thinks you really, really want.

2. Sing like a bird: When someone is said to "sing like a bird" it means he's been talking about things that should have been held private.. This could mean you've been asking for this before, or it could have to do with music. It could be a musical instrument, or tickets to a favorite band..

3. Car is involved, but then again, no it isn't: This means it is not a car itself, but it does involve using one. You may have to travel somewhere to get it..

OK, clue number one.... "flip". You can flip burgers, flip a house, flip records, flip your lid, do a backflip, flip someone the bird. It may mean that you literally flip the gift over to see the other side of it. You may have to flip it over to work it, like an hourglass, or a noisemaker.

Clue number two.... "sing". Might mean music, but to "sing like a bird" could be to snitch on someone. It might whistle. Maybe you have to sing to use it, like a karaoke machine.

Clue number three.... "car involved, or not".... This could simply mean that he had to get in the car and drive to the store to get it. The word "car" could be part of the name of the gift, like "cartoon."

I think it has to do with karaoke, myself.

Do you actually get to shake the box, or are your gifts hidden?

My first guess is car keys perhaps to a buick skylark.

It would help to have other year's clues and answers.

Tough one... A skateboard maybe? Naa... But bear in mind that if it was your dad who invented the clues then they will probably be off the point (inaccurate)
