because of some scandal, people are debatin whether or not mall santas should be able to say hohoho... they think it mite be offensive tto women cuz "ho" is some slang word "hoe". They also think they should change it to "hihihi" but that is like "drug reference"...(high). I personally think they should be able to say hohoho because they arent pointing at women and yelling hoe,hoe, hoe... and even if they are, its their right. plus if santa starts saying something else it mite confuse lil kids. so i just wanna know your thots

I wish people would leave our holidays alone. Do people not have enough to gripe about? Give it a rest. Let Santa say what he has been saying for over a hundred years I am sure.

Oh, but hang on, that IS a drug reference. You know what? We should remove the word 'high' from the English dictionary, instead of saying 'my kite is high in the sky' maybe we should say 'my kite is...lie...in the sky'.
That's sorted. But, hang on? Doesn't 'lie' have sexual connotations...lying on your back etc... Omgsh, and come to think of it...kite sounds like fight...meaning it could have violent undertones. Wow, so by saying 'my kite is high in the sky' is actually a euphemism for sex and drugs. Damn, what a scandal.

This is based on one santa training class suggesting to their Santa's that maybe they should replace ho ho ho with something else. There's no ban. Just another urban legend whipped up by the "War on Christmas" conspiracy theorists.

Christmas is what you want to make of it. I think this is very silly and santa saying "ho ho ho" has never ment to have a negitive connotation.

Since I wouldn't lie to my kids to begin with, I wouldn't be upset. Then when I got them home I would use the opportunity to explain to the kids the rights of others to their own opinions about what their families believe. I would do it in a way that they would understand at their age.
