If Adam had not sinned, would he eventually have gone to heaven?
Must a person go to heaven to have a truly happy future?
What are your thoughts on these things? Please use the Bible where possible.

They stand in front of every large store, ringing their bell from now until Christmas. Don't you feel sorry for them? And they probably get nothing for it.

Things like Opening the mask of Tutankamen and when they find old skeletons etc. I find the way they open then and display them a bit disrespectful. I know they are old and stuff but they were still human beings. Is it just me?

After reading another members post about Jeremiah 10...

"Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good."

I have to wonder! If you are to follow the bible, why is this little passage disgregarded?

I have lost a lot of weight (in a bad way cos I was already slim) and my clothes hang on me and they are old.

I do not have much money, even for thrift store/charity shop. My clothes are old but I try and keep them clean.

When you see someone dressed like this what do you immediatly think.

I want to hear from both sides, and why. How do you feel about the Catholic church telling its followers what type of presidential candidate to vote for? Or in some cases, which one candidate to vote for? Isn't that a violation of mixing church and state affairs? Wouldn't then (theoretically) the Catholic church be able to "sponsor" a strongly Catholic candidate, and tell its followers to vote for him? I want to make something clear, I am a Protestant, or at least that's what I have been labeled by the Catholic church, and I have no hate against Catholics, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. My "religion" isn't perfect, but we cannot judge a religion by its members, we judge it by its beliefs. If we didn't, Catholicism would be just as taboo as Nazism. Hitler professed to be Catholic, remember? But all in all, do you think it's right for the church to do so or not?

not that i'm complaining, since i'm pagan, but don't you atheists think that we're as crazy as the christians, or maybe even moreso since they only believe in 1 god and we believe in many?

so, what's the difference?

Some of you are having difficulties obtaining medications due to the high cost associated with them. There are some programs available to assist you, I believe th maximum income is $42,000 per year for some. Montel Williams program is $15.00 per month for free meds, however there are others that are virtually FREE. With the free ones, you will have to choose your medications prescribed from your doctor from a formulary, print out the form, take it to your doctor have him fill it out, sent it to the pharmaceutical company. They in turn, will send the meds to your doctors office for you to pick up. Normally, they send 3 months supply. You will have to provide proof of income to them.

Montels program is www.freemedicinerevolution.com
Free ones www.PPARX.com

I hope this will benefit someone who needs it.

My boyfreind of 8 months broke up with me the day before Thanksgiving. This werent going well, but i am crushed that he did this right before my birthday and Christmas. My question is....I already bought him some Christmas gifts. I ordered his mothers gift online. It took a long time and hard work to do her gift. It is very personal for her that she will always cherish. I really want her to have it. Can I send it to her in the mail? (My ex and his mom live in the same house). Or one night near Christams drop it off in her mailbox or at the door? I wont bother giving him his, but i really want her to have what I got her. I know she would adore it. Its a personal calendar I had made of her dog. It took 3 hours to get that dog to stay still. Also, I had already made out his mothers Christamas card. Could I still mail that? I also made out ones for his brother and sister, but I guess I shouldnt send them right? and dont send my boyfriend his right? Please help. I dont know what to do.

"This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel and the Repurchaser of him, Jehovah of armies, 'I am the first and I am the last, and beside me there is no God'."

Who is the First and the Last of Isaiah 44:6?

Now read Revelation 1:17 (again from the New World Translation): "And he laid his right hand upon me and said; 'Do not be fearful. I am the First and the Last, and the living one; and I became dead, but look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of Hades'."

Who is the First and the Last of Revelation 1:17?

I'm a Muslim, and one of my friends invited me to "Maundy Thursday" in a couple months. He says it's a footwashing service and a very humbling experience. What's it like? Do I have to do anything? Should I tell them I'm Muslim so they do something different for me or something?

I've been reading through the message boards all morning and left and right I read, "Misery loves it's company," in reference to atheists. A question I have for people who have either used this quote, believed this quote, or just have a little insight on this quote:

Do you honestly believe that because I do not share faith in your God that I am miserable, or does it just facilitate making you feel better about your own faith, and people who don't share your same faith and views?

They are not honest to themselves and constantlY try to say that islam is the best-how would you know? They say that islam is not violent yet anybody who breaks the teachings in the quran are not kick out but left in. I think people are naturally good, but are corrupted by other people. It's groups, herd mentality, peer pressure, whatever you want to call it that is bad.
The solution is for everyone to become a hermit. You can't steal from yourself, or give yourself VD , vandalize your own stuff, commit fraud against yourself, or rape yourself. So look how many crimes are instantly wiped off the books. And since you aren't picked on by anyone, suicide would probably trickle to a halt too.
Pretty good idea, huh?
