People are naturally wicked and unloving. If you don't believe me, I think a great case for my arguement are these kids that have attatchment disorders because they didn't receive the love of a mother when they were babies and in their early years. by the time they are 4 or 5, it's too late. They have no love and no emotion for other people. These kids are the ones that grow up to be sociapaths. They're not out for anyone but themselves and they could care less about the value of life. There is no value in the life of anyone but themselves.

I think both. It's what Asians call balance or the 'Chi'. Each and every individual can possess a distinct characteristic of being good and evil, however, either individuals also possess a natural kindness and meanness in them. It all depends on the environment or circumstance that each and ever individual face and how they react to it. Reason why no one has the right to judge any individual of their offense or condemn anybody on their mistakes for that instance because nobody is perfect. People change either for good or evil. That as it is said it is making human a human different from any other living things.

I believe people are naturally nice. I don't blame others or society for them changing into worthless. I believe the blame is on their own shoulders...some people just give in, instead of fighting off the negativity...and overcoming it. You can rise above all the morons and "bad" people....it's a choice. You choose to steal, you choose to rape, you choose to be an a$$hole....Each person is given the choice...do the right thing or the wrong thing...unfortunately too many people choose the wrong thing.....I just refuse to believe that tv, movies, or society in general is to blame for the way you choose to live your life......
lol and as far as the suicide trickling to a halt....I don't think it would...too many people would be "lonely".....and thus, suicide would be their answer...

It varies, but I think most people are basically good.
That being said, I think that, given the right set of circumstances, just about anyone is capable of doing just about anything, good or bad.
I have had a mafia hit man bandage a scrape on my knee, and Mexican gang members help me get into my locked car when I was stranded and alone in a strange part of Miami. I've also had "respected" members of society try to destroy my life over some small, petty disagreement that apparently really hit the wrong buttons for them. There's always a back story, and we don't always know what that back story is when we see someone's actions. But what I'm saying is that even the most "evil" people in history have moments of human kindness, and even the most "good" people have moments where their actions are horrifying.

You might want to read up on the theory of Yen & Yang. I'm sure you've seen the symbol. Black represents the bad and white the good. There is a dot of white in the black side and a dot of black in the white side. Basically it's because that in all that is good there is a little bad, and visa versa. I ofcourse have butchered this by simplifying it so much, but that's the easiest way I can think of to give it a brief summory.

Since the fall of man, i.e., sin of Adam and Eve, total depravity is the natural state. That is why Jesus Christ had to come into the world so His death could make atonement for those who believe in Him. God required this atonement, because He is a just God.

Spiritually, I believe that people are naturally nice, but over time and unrighteousness that enters into their lives, become villanized and wicked. Without the saving grace and love of our Jesus and recognizing that without HIS kind of love (he gave himself for us, died for us and proved his love) we are doomed. I do not believe that people can't be redeemed, but I do believe that one's integrity, character and esteem for life and liberty and loving others must override anything else that would surface. Love is the real answer to the world's problems today. We have to understand that it's not love that 'we ' know it to be - it's a greater love/ a higher called love.....a love that will bring people to Christ.
