I'm getting his receptionist a bottle of wine, but he doesn't drink, so that is out. He also is on a very strict diet so I don't want to get him anything edible or a gift certificate to a resteraunt. I also got him a gift certificate last year, so I would like to avoid getting him another one if at all possible. Also, the bottle of wine is like $10-15, so I want to keep it in that price range so they are both treated equally. ANY IDEAS?????? THANKS!!!!

Meaning that it doesn't feel the same to you as it once did when you were younger? It's like after all that build up to that day, and you open your gifts (that's if you even receive any), you get a 'Now what?' kind of feeling (at least I do). Now I'm single with no kids, so that may factor into why I feel this way, but I wanted to know other people's opinions.

I'm doing a persuasive speech about donating blood...and I was wondering if there are statistics anywhere on the web that tell how many people die each year without blood donations?

I've always thought it is iggnorant for us to believe that we are alone in the universe. I mean I know there have been "sightings" of UFO's . I also know there is no solid prove of aliens but still people have said they've seen them and I've even heard of people who have said they've been abducted by aliens.

are they real ?

Christmas is about Celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Why do people celebrate it if they don't even believe him.

Just carve a cave along the side of the iceberg, or build an igloo on top Bingo! instant shelter from wind, and rain. Actually, all I'd need to do is stretch a seal skin ceiling across a few logs, or blocks of ice and I'd have a rain proof shelter.

There's plenty of fresh water for drinking (after it stopped raining for 40 days i could melt ice). Plenty of fish in the ocean to eat.

Survivability seems quite possible in this case. In addition, huge icebergs TAKE YEARS TO MELT, even in the hot sun. Icebergs are impervious to waves, as many are larger than Manhattan island.

Do you do anything in your life that gives back to society, or do you just get off on attacking people?

We are constantly being bombarded with appeals to help the less fortunate across the seas: Africa, Asia, South America etc. whereas here in the United States, we have millions of poor folks less fortunate than we.

I plan on getting my best friend of 4 years a really nice Christmas present (I don't know what yet). His three younger brothers, ages 7, 12 and 17 are cool. They're always fun around the house, I take them places when parents or older brother isn't around. I was thinking of getting the boys each a small Christmas present (maybe some candy & a $10 giftcard). Their parents also have been wonderful to me. So my question is: I am certainly buying my best friend something, but do I just buy presents for the brothers, for both the brothers & parents (and if so, what could I get them?) or just for the whole family?

My Grandmother passed away this week. My mom and I were very close to her. I want to give my mom a heartfelt present that would remind her of the good times all three of us spent together. I don't have any videos and I only have a few photos of all of us together. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I don't think teenagers shouldn't drive, because they don't have enough experience in it. But I don't know much about this, so maybe you guys can help me.
