I'm getting his receptionist a bottle of wine, but he doesn't drink, so that is out. He also is on a very strict diet so I don't want to get him anything edible or a gift certificate to a resteraunt. I also got him a gift certificate last year, so I would like to avoid getting him another one if at all possible. Also, the bottle of wine is like $10-15, so I want to keep it in that price range so they are both treated equally. ANY IDEAS?????? THANKS!!!!

I know you said nothing edible, but would a fruit basket be against his diet? You could even make it yourself, so that you kept the cost down. You could buy him a CD of some nice classical music, that's pretty good. Also, you could get him a gift certificate for a massage at your local massotherapy school; they usually have pretty cheap massage rates because the students, who are fully trained, need to get their hours in for their license. A gift certificate for a spa would be good; $15 or $20 should get him a facial or something along those lines, a pedicure is a good one for a man, too.

How about a nice set of cuff links or a tie tack? Some other good ideas: a plant, an ornament, a money clip, or a book (if you know the sort of things he likes to read

Why not try a fruit basket... fruit is healthy! Or perhaps you could give him a nice holiday ornament for his tree ( if he decorates his office) Maybe a nice tea pot with some green or white tea bags.

um...flowers are always nice but a tad expensive:
go the whole hog for your doctor, i mean, who does the operations and stuff: YOUR DOCTOR, not the receptionist. but, a heartfelt thank you card means everything.

I go with the fruit basket idea, it works and it won't go to waste.
