Do Christians think people born to different customs from Christian traditions truly deserve to be TORTURED FOREVER on Satan's BBQ? These customs, handed down for thousands of years include love, respect, honor, courage, compassion and altruism.

How could anybody in their right mind turn a blind eye to God's evil punishment for such gentle loving souls? Why the hell does "how loving and compassionate you are in life" take a distant back seat to "worshiping God" -- ESPECIALLY considering these people never grew up, nor their parents, with Christian traditions?

How would you feel if no one warned the public? Many churches have been aware for a few years but it seems they have done nothing to warn the world.

Consider this post a warning. This is probably the last time you will be hearing from me.

And when Allah saith: O JESUS, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? he saith: Be glorified It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then Thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy mind. Lo! Thou, only Thou art the Knower of Things Hidden.(verse116,surah or chapter05,Al-Ma'idah)

I asked a question earlier regarding the use of "us" or "our" in the book of Genesis. I got a lot of responses that God is referring to the Trinity when he says this.

My question is, why does he sometimes refer to himself as "I" and sometimes as "us"? He will refer to himself as "I" when speaking to someone, but when speaking about humans he usually refers to "us" or "our".

How can you say he is referring to the Trinity if he is not consistent with the use?

Does anyone else have an alternate explanation?

ha i spelled it right. i'm re-asking it so people understand what i mean this time.
i dont know if i do. im pretty sure i dont. cuz god cant make people out of mud. and breath into mud/dirt to make them alive.
i dont know religion doesnt make scence. judism kinda does to me.my mom belives in god and my dad doesnt. and i have a (moderatly) religious family.
i just dont belive in that crap its just stories.
this is what i think:
see the way i figure it they were all stoners. how else would moses have survived? he ate/smoked pot.
(people used to drink/eat cocaine)
and thats how he saw a "burning bush" he could've been smoking and then it went on fire, or he coulda been scitzophrenic. that could be it.
i belive in moses
i dont know its all weird.
and how do people know this?
jewish people have better records. i think its year 5083 or something like that. my dads side of the family was jewish.
and better records mean better facts. the "10 comandmdments" movie, makes some scence

God, after creating the entire universe and then kicking out Adam and Eve apparently got lonely and bored and wanted contact with his creation again. He recruited people such as Moses to become, like, his secretary and dictated to him his views on Life, the Universe and Everything.

A little while later, god changed his mind and did a complete back-flip on a whole lot of his opinions.

Now, for someone who is all-powerful and all-knowing this is a little peculiar, no?

I mean if god knows everything, he should at least have the good sense to formulate his views properly before he publishes them, don't you think?

I recently had my baby shower and am in the process of trying to write out thank you notes to the people who came and brought me presents. I am a very personal person and am usually good at doing this kind of stuff but I am kind of drawing a blank. I don't find it necessary to thank them specifically for each and every gift. Does anyone have any good creative ideas on what I could write in the thank you notes? Serious answers only please.

It has to do with either dealing with death or the afterlife

I remember when I was young walking round the corner with my mum from the Oxford St bus station in Belfast just before the IRA blew it up (on what is known as Bloody Friday). That one blast resulted in the murder of two soldiers and multiple injuries to people nearby. I believe this experience has given me a very different perspective on life as I have grown up as I have constantly reminded myself that had I not turned the corner when I did, it's quite likely I wouldn't be here now. I'm not saying I'm not scared of death, I am. But as I have grown older I have come to believe that when your number's up, it doesn't matter how much you try to wrap yourself in cotton wool, if it's going to happen it will.

So the question is, have you ever been in a situation where you could have potentially died? And has that experience shaped your life and attitude towards the life that you have?

http://www.near-death.com/cayce.html, I agree with him in my views, its not a religion, but teaches that christ, bhudda or whatever, was a being who was one with god, does it not say in the bible" know ye are gods", we are just not god as a whole, but are gods individualized from the great whole, all is one, examine how your thoughts and actions effect the world
