Yes. I like the house to look different for a change. I love the holiday arts & crafts that you can display. The house always looks so nice and cozy with the lights on the tree while Christmas carols play in the background. I love to decorate.
I am listening to Walking in the Winter Wonderland right now although that is not a Christmas carol.

I'm going to. I just got married and have a new home so I'm excited about decorating for Christmas. I did not decorate before when I had a small apartment and no one ever came over.

Oh jeeez, yes, but not on my account. My housemate decorates to the hilt and makes me sick. It's so fru-fru, but he enjoys it. We have no children in our household.
Some people enjoy decorating for Christmas because it gives them something to do, they entertain a lot, and they enjoy the creativity and opulence involved with it.
Also, many of these people are too used to doing it when they were children to give it up, even for one season.
Many people decorate for Christmas regardless if they are religious or not. It's a season and spirit of love, they don't get technical about the actual reason for the season

Christmas decorating is a sign that Christmas is coming, even if you are the only one that sees it. I will always decorate for Christmas, although it is a lot more fun since having our son. We did it before him, we'll do it after he is off on his own.

Well, uhhhh , yes! Doesn't everyone??? I've never had children of my own. Certain things that some ppl classify as Christmas decorations stay up year round in this house!

yes, I did it before I had my kids, I love to put up the
Christmas tree and decorate the house, and now
that I have my children, we all enjoy it.

My mom still does for her grandchildren since we still do christmas with the family . But this year my sister in law taking over so my mom said she not putting christmas tree up at all.

When I had no kids at home I did not. Now I have a son who is 11 and he expects me to do some.
