By this time Moses was a very old man, going into the promise land would not be easy. The inhabitants were not going to give in willingly to these aliens. Joshua was younger and in better shape for the battle.
No where does it say that moses will not be resurrected onto a paradise earth to live forever. The bible talks of his faith and his love and endurance. Saying he left the treasures of Egypt to do God's will. No where does it say that he will not in the future when the earth is made into a paradise then moses will be resurrected tolive in this paradise forever.
Death or non existance doesn't seem long to the person who dies. It is called in the bible the twinkleing of a eye.
Or like a continous door way into something better than the promise land. a paradise earth.
But in those days the hope was eternal life in a beautiful paradise. Not to go to heaven.
