And when Allah saith: O JESUS, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? he saith: Be glorified It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then Thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy mind. Lo! Thou, only Thou art the Knower of Things Hidden.(verse116,surah or chapter05,Al-Ma'idah)

and their saying: Surely we have killed the messiah, Isa (Jesus) son of marium (Mary), the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so and most surely those who differ therein are only in doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

An old debate continued... An ancient split over the question of the nature of God gave evidence to Mohammad through those he held as slave... An illiterate man who sought to justify his own selfish acts in the minds of those who would have otherwise stopped him... Words that never appear in the Bible and are, in fact, heavily contradicted.
Is there any part of the Bible that would justify Allah expressing mild acceptance of the people of the Book? Your Allah made one huge mistake including the name of Jesus in his religion. People will eventually begin to wonder who this Jesus of Nazareth really is.

I noticed that Islam says Mohammed believed Jesus was (only) a Prophet of God. If so, why didn't he obey Jesus' teachings from God? If the record of his teachings were too corrupted by men and not preserved by God (as you say the Koran + is) then that means Jesus was not of God and Mohammed was wrong.

i trust the writings that are at the time of origin... not the several hundred or thousand year newer tales. especially not the gnostic version that can be proven wrong by history, prophecy and artifacts.
