I'm Muslim and am going to a Christian funeral this weekend. I'm not really sure about the proper ettiquette for it.

What should I wear? Black? What happens during the sermon? What are things I should NOT do?

Thank you so much.

When I was in high school there was this girl, she thought she was God's gift to Earth. She claimed to be the devout Christian and faithful servant of God and His church. Well... she was mean as a snake when it came to school. She constantly was putting others down, constantly turning her nose to anyone who didn't drive a brand new car, and didn't resemble Jesus not in one single attribute.

So I saw it my duty to teach her a lesson. I cleverly got myself invited to one of her elitist parties, and with me I brought a bottle of Nair (the hair removal stuff). While at the party I located her bathroom and went to use it. I replaced half her shampoo with the Nair (she was an only child, and it was for sure not her parents). During the party I was dipping some punch when she bumped into me, instead of saying "I'm sorry, excuse me", she told me to "Stay out of her way, how did YOU get invited to MY party anyway?!?" I then got really loud so *everyone* could hear I told her... CONTINUED...

Here's some options for you if you feel less inclined to give a full and hearty answer:

1) My religion prevents me from studying _anything_ that contradicts its teachings
2) I dislike the idea that we are animals
3) I particularly dislike the idea that we evolved from the same ancestor as chimpanzees
4) I just didn't understand it enough to continue
5) Nothing, I just wasn't interested
6) I am completely indifferent to the whole evolution "vs" creationism fiasco

that question from annonymous regarding the universe and what it comes from was an excelent question. these are the questions that keep life interesting. there is more logic in the thought of infinate universe than there is in god... yet i still believe there may be a god... but hey there may not... that doesn't mean i'm evil. in fact i'm a nice guy, do anything for you... won't JUDGE. i'll leave that to god, allah, thor if there is such a thing.

Is the sole purpose of being religious to try to convert those of us who aren't to your ways of thinking? We stand strong on our own and have our own thoughts and beliefs.

I noticed that the interviewer asked the guest why he was so angry, but for some reason, it seemed to me like it was the interviewer who was angry and the guest who was calm and logical. It also seemed that in many instances, the interviewer kept asking basically the same question over and over again but never appeared to actually be hearing the answer given. I am Pagan by the way and I am wondering if my perception of this interview is similar or different to people of other spiritual beliefs. Please tell me what your perception of this interview was?

So if a simpleton such as myself say that we as Muslims believe God created all there is from His Light. (a term used to actually describe His energy)

Would it be correct to assume that this was in full accordance with science?

Where science claims that energy does not get destroyed and only changes form.

And since everything came into existence because of Gods energy, this energy has always been here and will always be here?

comments?

Say for example, if you did it out of love or simply strong emotions, that may not necessarily be negative... is the act itself still negative? Isn't it the intention that counts? I would like to hear people's perspectives, especially from a spiritual point of view (not religious but spiritual). Thank you x

because I use Poetry to reach the lost for the Lord. I am in a state! Nobody has ever talked to me like this person. Help me for how is it possible that he calls himself a Christian and have the ability to belittle me like that. God Help me!

This is the scripture that he has been giving me.
(2Ti 4:2) Preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.

I have been doing the above, you people should know?
Please pray for me.
