Sorry this is off-topic, but I just had a little incident here at our shop. I am here alone and a little while ago a kind of creepy guy came in and started getting "fresh" with me... telling me I should "display" more and that I'm a good-looking woman. When I told him I needed to call my husband he said "don't tell him I'm here!" and he comes and sits right by me on a stool... I was THIS close to pepper-spraying him (we have some handy just for such possibilities) when a couple came into the shop. I was never so happy to see people.... he gave them a dirty look and then left. My question is, ladies, would you have waited, or would you have sprayed the guy right when he started saying suggestive things? If he comes back I'm asking him to leave, and if he refuses I'll spray him and call the cops! My husband went around the neighborhood looking to see if he could spot someone who fit the description but no luck.

Why? Give an example, if you can.

Is the line pretty vague on how far we take Jesus' teachings about taking care of the poor, or is it not? Should we take care of the poor and downtrodden no matter what the cost? Should we trust their intentions of finding work, and even allow single mothers to use welfare as a way to spend time at home with their children?

November, a month of giving thanks and generous tithes. Donating to charity is what many will do as a result in Thanksgiving attitudes. One easy step in making a difference is clicking 'click-to-donate' sites. Donating a click is the simplest and most thrifty way to give money to charity; in fact, you don't have to give money at all. Basically, 'click-to-donate' sites are websites where users can click a button to generate a donation because they get money from advertisers whose banners are displayed each time a user clicks the button. Some sites generate a donation even just for visiting a site. There are outstanding outcomes brought out by the generous 'clickers'. Just looking at the daily results of thehungersite.com shows that they came up with 4,250,785 clicks (just in the month Oct'07), which brought forth 4,803,372 cups of food. All those cups of food for impoverished children, and it all started when a person took the first step in clicking.

what u think so far?

I know they provide blankets pillows and other stuff when they go to homeless shelters. I notice that the shelters give out items aswell, socks clothes foot powder deodorant etc... the one I know of at least..

I am asking more like, what do they usually need that shelters usually don't have enough of.. I know foot powder is usually something they run out quite quickly. Warm hats...

Anything else?

I know Jobs and a home is obvious..
Serious people only please.

But This is more of a giveaway bag my friend needs to know what to buy and hand out.

When the Euro was in its infancy there was only one country which met the targets for joining the single currency – the UK . Yet the UK had no interest in joining.

Today , we can see that the more God-Less countries have the least social problems. Is it the case that Atheists have exceeded Gods’ standards but have no interest in joining God ?

A little more than a Yes or No answer would be nice .

According to the Qu'ran Jesus formed a bird and gave it life.
Does this mean Muslims have more than one creator?
Christians believe in one God who created everything that exist.
How many creators do Muslims have?

Jesus shows himself to everyone at least once in there life. So on judgment day he is guiltless.
Jesus will come to you. and show himself to you.
Now the unbelievers will disagree ... yet in time they will know he is real because they will see him.
Jesus will be blameless ... you will be guilty because you refused to believe hes real.
Jesus is appearing in dreams and before peoples naked eye NOW A DAYS. Has been for a very long time.
I forgot where but people are seein him in dreams. Wake up and they choose to believe. Thats when there life changes. There testimony is being spread out.

Its your choice!

btw .. is there any old unbeliever that has changed there life because Jesus has showed themselves to them?
If not ... Its because you refused it or you didnt even think.
You will be judged in the end, when you do... where do you think your going?

Im not trying to rub it in your face... just tired of Atheist coming on there acting childish, try to make others not believe in the truth.

Padre Pio, a famous fraud, has now been found out. (not that anyone with an ounce of sense did'nt know it was a trick, but like any good magician, finding out the trick, was the hard part).
Now it seems his secret is out; carbolic acid.
I for one cannot fathom the mental insanity that would drive someone to damage themselves in the name of an imaginary sky pixie. But maybe the money was worth it to him.
And of course since he's STILL making money for the church, rome has decided that no further investigation should be done.
Convenient no?
