I know they provide blankets pillows and other stuff when they go to homeless shelters. I notice that the shelters give out items aswell, socks clothes foot powder deodorant etc... the one I know of at least..

I am asking more like, what do they usually need that shelters usually don't have enough of.. I know foot powder is usually something they run out quite quickly. Warm hats...

Anything else?

I know Jobs and a home is obvious..
Serious people only please.

But This is more of a giveaway bag my friend needs to know what to buy and hand out.

Food- you could buy packaged granola bars, cookies, hostess cakes, chips, etc. You could also make sandwhiches.

Coupons- I'm not sure about this one, but you could give them coupons to go get discounted clothes, etc.

Toiletries- Toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, lip balm.

Clothing- warm hats, scarfs, gloves, coats, socks

Good luck!! :-)

Sleeping bags and tents are what the homeless in my area where asking for at a recent protest. Those are items they need and shelters don't provide.

I carry packets of hand/foot warmers that I give to homeless people that I come across in the park when I'm walking my dogs.
