Today, there are about 6,500,000,000 people in the world. If the Great Flood occured in around 2345 BC, are there enough generations, assuming everyone is a descendent of Noah and his wife, to account for the current population?

(my kid suggested this question, so don't blame me if you don't like it)

You keep asking for proof, but when Christians share our testimonies about how God has changed our lives or how He has intervened in trying times, you completely discount those testimonies. Do you REALLY believe that millions of Christians throughout history just imagined the things that God has done for us? Aren't there too many of these testimonies to completely discount them? You accuse Christians of being close minded, refusing to accept proof of evolution, but aren't you doing the same thing to the proof that we offer?

What has time ever done to us?
People should enjoy every living,precious minute, shouldn't they?

Even waiting in the long supermarket queue there are creative things to do like sampling the strategically located candy near the checkouts.

Even on a long commute to your 9-5 you can learn Mandarin, practice TM or annoy the crap out of your fellow passengers with your 101 boring ringtones.

Noah might have had the biggest boat, but you bet your bottom dollar that there would have been plenty of other boats carrying people (not to mention an entire planet's worth of floating trees and other debris) Or did God strike them all down with lightning bolts?

Why would everyone drown in the Great Flood except for Noah's clan? Why couldn't fisherman simply launch their boats into the rising water?

I know that you believe there is a Jesus, but do you know Him personally. Have you asked Him into your heart. Do you hear His voice (My sheep shall know my voice). I don't need to hear how hard it is or the time limits or what I need to do. I have a hearing, by telephone rather than in person next week for my medicaid appeal and state cash assistance. I am told my DHS worker and her superviser will be in the same room as me on the phone with the Judge in Lansing. My attorny will be on the 3 way phone and my 2 witnesses, (my best friend and a pastor and my case manager from county mental health), to answer questions. What kind of questions do that they ask? And I offered to have more witnesses or written affidaveds from people that have seen my condition and know me, but I was told by my attorny that too many witnesses etc...could piss the judge off because it take too much time. Does that sound right? What have you been through with it? Please don't message telling me how hard it is to get help and SS etc..I know. I will add help for anyone reading, that contacting your state represenative helps. It took only 2 weeks after to get help.

Okay, hello there and how do you do?

Basically there are about 10-15 youths who hang out right outside my house, they litter, swear & put graffiti on my wall.

These scruffs, rifraf, monsters are causing me huge ammount of agro. I don't associate myself with lowely commoners most of the time, but these youths;
(roughtly aged between 17-21)
Just will not leave me in peace.

Want do you think I should do?
I do have a gun, but I don't feel shooting one of them to scare the rest off is very responsible. However it would probably get rid of them. Should I shoot one?

Generally religions instruct people to do some things in some ways. But because of the ignorance of the people, you can't see people doing them right. Like some Muslims being suicide bombers.

So the followers of which religion can represent the teachings of their religion better?
