I am also a grandmother of 6 and love it. I work 1 full time job and 1 part time . And I still have an 11 year old at home. Very busy around here. And helping with 6th grade homework. Oh my word. Makes you realize how much we have learned and forgotten.

What a great attitude you have, you are an inspiration to others. It's wonderful that you work with kids. Sounds like they'd have a hard time keeping up with you. lol

I'm 51 and in my mind I can do anything, but my allergies often stop me. I'm not giving up though, I just have to change the way I do things and get moving.

Through my own eyes [reflective of my inner self] I am still a 'youngun'...when I look in the mirror I say "Who IS that woman?" lOL...sometimes I physically feel much younger; others my age; and occasionally older.

I, too, hold down a full time job...live alone and
'take care of business' by myself as need be.

I feel great. I'm blessed with good genes and I love physical exercise. I have 2 new grand daughters and I'm gonna teach them how to snowboard as soon as I can strap a board to their feet!
This is probably one of the best times of my life. All that worrying about getting older was a waste of energy!

Yes, I've got my hands full with my volunteer work, the family, and other projects that I don't have time to think about age. We all know that there's no such thing as turning back the clock, but no one say you can't wind it up again!

Sky,

I am 64 years some days old and some days young. I find that I just can't run as fast or as far as use to be able too and I get tired easily.

I don't bounce back as quickly as I did in earlier times.

God has blessed you! I love your attitude towards life. I think it's true that you are as young as you feel. Some days I feel like I'm about 100!!!!! I get so tired.

Nice to meet you, Sky. I'm 56, with 5 grown sons and 9 grandkids. Think younger than my age, but very often feel a hell of a lot older.

And whatever's in your water....I want some!!!!!!

Everyday I wake up to have an argument with my body. I feel like I am young and yet my body says otherwise. I can't seem to win that one argument in life. But I am persistent.
I can see the eagle flying high and mighty..........on a post card.
I hear the voices of children................papa get up.
I am like the gazelle, swift on my feet................my daughter says "dad you tripped on those shoes on the floor. You almost bumped your head. Are you OK?"
I say one thing, my body says another.

I think the key here is to keep interested and learning new things. I'm old enough and delusional enough to think 55 is the new 40! LOL

Gracie, don't you know it! I want some too!
