So if you say this about repenting to be saved, then would it be safe to say that this Christian women who lives in my town that has screwed just about every single man.

So if this Christian women repents she will be saved and go to heaven?

But what happens if she is still continuing in screwing every bloke that comes her way?

Yes I know she is Christian as I see her going to church all the time and no I am not judging her not that it matters as I am Atheist anyway.

Please do not take offence to this, I would like answers and serious ones please and yes this is a true story, I did not make this up in anyway.

Doesn't the need for good hygiene suggest that the human body itself is nasty and evil? I know everything that God made is good, but why this need? I posted this in R&S because it is related to the creation of mankind and this paradox.

"Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one."

Another less recognised less known by a fictional writer opposed to a phylosopher is.
"I hope the shadow you chase is not the one you cast"

What are your views on these quotes? I know they are not technically spiritual but some people here may appreciate them.

I am doing a course at uni, and some of my friends believe the teacher is being racist towards the majority of students who are white (to put it very broadly). The teacher himself is also white, as he told us very early in the course.
One of my friends call it reverse racism. I say racism is racism any way you look at it.
What do you think?

I'm constantly hearing about how christians are upset that their rights are being stepped on by removing "god" from state affairs.

Put yourself in a position where the united states were not prodominently christian, instead it were prodominently Islam ...

for 13 years you had to say a pledge every morning that included the words "one nation, under Allah"

if you went to court to testify, first you had to put your hand on the Qur'an and swear to tell the truth, so help you Allah..
On all your money is printed "In allah we trust"

Do you see where I am coming from yet?!?

I want ALL religion to be free, practice whatever you want in your own house, but keep it out of state affairs

Honestly would you be as adoment as i am if the tables were turned.

This question is NOT about islam....

You could change this to Pastafarianism, Satnism, Taoist, Hindu, whatever *insert religion here*, the point is if the tables were turned, and the United States were not "your religion"

A very close friend of mine had a late term abortion a couple of years ago. In her case she was carrying a fetus that had such severe genetic anomolies to the point that the placenta was beginning to consume the fetus itself. My friends blood pressure was sky rocketing as a result of the battle of tissues going on inside her. She had 2 choices, carry a severely deformed fetus to term that would never survive and likely kill her in the process, or have a late term abortion. She wisely chose the latter. Now that the anti-choice lobby has pushed their agenda through the legeslature banning such late term abortions this choice would not be hers to make. Now, 2 years later, she is again pregnent with a thriving, healthy, male fetus and will give birth in about 2 months. Imagine, if this law had existed earlier this new life may never have been possible. We could have easily lost the child, the mother and all future children she may yet have.

I am sure I am not wrong in saying the the majority of religious people were born into family's that are also religious, so for example, people born into Christian households became Christian, and like wise those born into Muslim family's would become Muslim. So how when there faith is surely just a chance of fate, can they argue that it is more worthy then the other. Surely if they were born into family's that practiced another religion they themselves would also be that religion?

I was answering another Q the other day, (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqUN_U2mS35l5wIMaa3BS5Dsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071017080350AAZ6n9H&show=7#profile-info-X9L5r2h3aa)
and it showed this website that a sister created saying that we don't need to relax our hair. that we are brainwashed by our white counterparts into thinking that our own hair is 'bad, nappy, and unmanageable'. Now don't get me wrong I am sure, even positive, that this happened in the past. I have seen too many studies showing how we used to think black was ugly, but this day(2007) is post the 'black is beautiful' and 'I'm black and I'm Proud' days...Why am I only a good black if i have natural hair, or my fist up in the air, etc...When our lighter brothers (Caucasians) do the same thing, 'I'm white and proud', or hold their hands in the air (this time not in a fist), we call it HATRED, RACISM. Just food for thought,

What do you think? Do you feel it is STILL necessary to prove how black you are?

James 2: 14-26
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead. Indeed someone might say, "You have faith and I have works." Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works. You believe that God is one. You do well. Even the demons believe that and tremble. Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless?...

2 days ago I took my dog to the vet to have her put to sleep. She had some health problems, some more serious that others. I know it's normal for a person to miss them and have some feelings of remorce, however, since she passed I have had the feeling that God is upset with me. My heart actually hurts all the time, and I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. If it is mentioned in the Bible, please refer me to the answer. Did I do the right thing and it's the evil one who is causing this feeling, or is God truly upset with me? Thank you for your time.
